Thank you for this book review. I just bought a copy. It is very beautiful art that defies the rules. Even the flat trees are gorgeous. I look forward to studying this style and enjoying its charm.
Catching up on your videos :) This book looks so beautiful and so jam packed! I can't help but think about another book you recently reviews, and well... It's almost like putting a substantial, serious, artist lookbook full of info next to the superficial social media appearance of things. While Iraville's style is very far from mine, I cannot deny I would love to have this book in my library. Thank you for the great review!
Great flip through Had I not just purchased it this video would have won me over to pick it up! I loved that it had a lot about her process as well as her art. I use the Rohrer & Klingner Drawing inks which are a bit different than the sketch ink colors.
I am thrilled that by 8/16 I’ll have a copy of this book. It looks to be a great one to have in my library. Thank you! I would never find something like this on my own.
Great review!! Looks like a book with lots of instructional content. I like her style, yet it is very different from mine. Certainly an interesting book to have in my collection.
Thank you for this in depth review of this beautiful book. Ira is based in Munich, though. 😍🧡❤😘 Rohrer & Klingner have different lines of ink with various different properties. The bottle you have is a relatively new line called SketchInk.😉
Carla Crosby,CDA I had to look up Betty Caithness as I wasn’t familiar with her art. She seems to create these village scenes as well but in a more vintage style. And I wonder what medium she uses, almost looked like oil paints. :)

I totally agree! Iraville is super talented and hardworking and it translates in this book so well! 👌🏼
Thanks for the thorough flip-through. This is gorgeous and full of inspiration in a variety of ways. It just moved to the top of my wish list!
Absolutely beautiful book ! I love everything of it.
Appreciate your book reviews. Thank you!
Very nice book and lot to learn from it 👌👌

Thank you for the review.
Her work is similar to Betty Gaithness who was from Virginia.
