only just found your videos and have to say a refreshing change in presentation style from so many. I have a 1896 treadle machine and that plus the Scots Norwegian accent drew me in. Bravo
Thank you! On my last two videos unfortunately the caption editor haven't been working, but I'm working on a solution so they can have proper captions too, instead of the auto ones 😂
Haha! Love the microphone on the scissors xD Also the "sup" I laughed. Very impressive work! edit: also really appreciated the explanation of a cording foot! last edit: Also appreciate the editing and music. It's soothing and the shots a great length to see what is happening while still being visually engaging. Excited to be able to say "I subscribed back when.."
Ok but the T arms while you're trying on the mockup just gave me flashbacks to when I was working on my mockup and used zip ties that were super long... Except I put the knobs at the bottom for some stupid reason and it was like some sort of medieval torture device 😂😂😂😂 The finished product is so gosh darn beautiful! Good work 😍
I got my local print shop to print it in A2, it should then be to the original scale! I'm not sure about the size, as I didn't measure it before making the first mock up, definitely email them if you need help with figuring out the printing or if you're printing at home, they were super helpful when I emailed them 😊
I made one corset using the make your own corset pattern using your own measurements Tutorial that's available on foundations revealed for free and I managed to make it too big
Nice work - the little hearts are a great finishing touch. Could you not use an iron-on stabiliser to help with the fraying, or maybe glue stick? BTW it's "pinking shears".
Well done! One of these days I'll be brave enough to head over to the Symington site and buy a copy of The Happy Housewife / Cheerful Charmaid / Merry Maid / whatever it's actually called. - Cathy (&, accidently, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown/Pimisi
@@LiljaHusmo I'm on a, shall we say, extended break from attempting to upsize and upscale the Redthreaded pattern for half stays. Because I had watched enough videos to think that doing such a thing would be easy. I was wrong. But. I did the exact same thing with my bones. And because it's Regency, I have to somehow slide all of those pointy things past my curly hair. I feel you for the mock-up stabbies. I'm going to make some nice, easy, wearable skirts for the next while. Then I'll return to corsetry...
@@stevezytveld6585 silly me thought ”oh I don't need to file the bones for the mock up...” those are some famous last words! Yes, i am very much looking forward to doing easier more familiar things like skirts going forward haha
@@LiljaHusmo It's nice to take a breather and go for the 'easy' win. I found a bunch of really beautiful wool before the holidays at one of the local charity shops. I am making wearable mock-ups for each of the simple, straightforward wardrobe anchors they will become. Because I need the reminder that I actually kind of know how to do this. I spent most of last year on 3 projects that still haven't work out. So. Nuts to that. Starting with a circle skirt and working up the food chain from there. Ultimately ending in a Chanel-style matching suit. Fingers crossed.
@@stevezytveld6585 oooo exciting! It's definitely good to sometimes make something easy to get into the creativity again and then there's the plus of getting more skirts to wear! I don't think one can ever have too many skirts

WOW! This is so impressive. Such an ambitious project, and you did an amazing job.
When spreading out paper or fabric, start in the middle and spread outward. That divides the chance of error
I really appreciate the care put into the captions, thank you. 😊

Um... that dog sure did move a lot more than I expected...
Wym? Dogs usually move don't they ? ;)
😂 Your dog is adorable!🎉
This is beautiful. Well done 👍
Please pet your dog for me (also I admire your patience, I get impatient after one mock up and usually mess it up shortly after that)
🐕oft yeah usually I wouldn't make more than 1 mock up, but I was not convinced the second one would even fit hahaha
Love the flossing design! The corset is lovely.
Thank you! It took a lot of tries and tears! 😂

Haha that's a very silly picture, a medieval tickle device 😂
Thank you ♥️
Really lovely work. So glad you did the collaboration with Vasi and I got introduced to your channel.
Thank you !
T-pose to assert dominance. Your corset came out gorgeous, love the colors you chose~!
Thank you! I'm very happy with the colour combos!
👏👏👏👏
Might I ask about your skeledog companion? Where can one acquire such a thing? The bone breeder?
He just showed up one day, he's a good boi though!
How did you get Symington print out, what size is it? I bought one digitally from there and can’t get the printing sorted.

Thank you! I'm quite happy with the little hearts, I think I will try a stabilizer for this fabric if I use it again 😊

Hattifatner mug!
It's one of my favourites!
