Installing a new sub-panel in a property might not always be as straight forward as we might want to think.
What if there's no more space for additional circuit breakers in the main load center? What if the skyrocketing costs of materials becomes prohibitive? Especially wire these days! I remember when a 250' roll of Romex was $25.00!
You might be able to do it more cost effectively. Or you might be able to work around a full panel, by using the 25 foot tap rule.
