If your keyboard is still not working, check the battery terminal on the keyboard. Sometimes the terminal builds up rust. Mine is fixed by cleaning the rust.

My model is KM5221W, with the universal receiver I managed to connect my keyboard but I'm struggling with the mouse, so I've checked your video and I don't have any updates for the universal receiver. It's weird because the keyboard is actually connected through it so I guess there's a way to connect the mouse as well🤷🙇

You're quite agile, replacing batterys with one hand,, clicking the cover off your mouse with one hand,, impressive :) None of these recommendations helped me, after a restart (new windows update auto installed) my mouse and keyboard stopped working. did the start/restart, unplugged receivers, etc. nothing working. Ohh well,, continue looking but I did click the thumbs up because you took the time to offer help - by the by, I'm of course sending this from my laptop,, my pc is the issue machine.

In my case I have km117 mouse is always working but each time for keyboard I have to unplug and plug battery
If you are facing issue even after plugging new battery socket or connector may have become loose.
use both on fresh install of windows

Try new battery in Keyboard, make sure switch is on if it has a switch button, install the driver from dell website
