Great topic! For me: Saxon (Wheels of Steel, Strong Arm, Denim), Motorhead (Overkill, Bomber, Ace of Spades, Short Sharp Pain…, Iron Fist), Twisted Sister (Under the Blade and You Can’t Stop), Y&T (Opening for AC/DC Black Tiger), ZZ Top (Eliminator), Bon Jovi (Debut and 7800), Queen (Magic), Blackfoot (Tomcattin’ and Maruader), Diamond Head (Borrowed Time), Fastway (debut), Dio (Holy Diver), Iron Maiden (debut).Cheers
I'll keep it simple and just name some the bands, Whitesnake, Def Leppard, Accept, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Queensryche and I know there's more but this is enough. I can only say I was in the right place at the right time!
Great idea for a video George! You've been pretty lucky you've gotten to see bands with their original line-up. Me being a lot younger than you it's been a lot harder, thinking about it I dont think I've seen a single band live with the original line-up! I may have seen Lamb of God with their original line-up but I'm not sure if Chris Adler was out by the time we saw them. I'm not 100% on that one. I would have loved to see Aerosmith live but will never have the chance now. Great topic 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thanks Josh! Yeah I guess it would be hard with your young age. By the way do you have a physical copy of your album to buy? I'd love to get a copy if you do. Cheers and thanks again!
@georgegsroomofrock9868 You're welcome mate! Yeah, it's tough for me, I'll have to see new bands coming through to be able to pass this I think. Yes I do still have copies to buy! If you go on my Bandcamp page you'll find parts 1 and 2, and there's plenty of copies left. And if you offer me full price for one + half price for the other, I'll send you both parts in one! Cheers! 😊🤘🏻🤘🏻
I saw Satan twice. They still have all 5 original members 40+ years after the debut. Also seen Alice in Chains, Slayer, Sabbath, Loverboy, Velvet Revolver with all originals
Hi George!!! Cool idea and you had the chance to see many cool bands with their original lineup...... undortunately down here we start having rock/metal shows just in the early/mid 90's so many bands had already a lot of band changes...... I think i have only two bands; Primus and Motley during their "farewell tour". cheers and be well
Let's see..Motorhead, Alice Cooper Band, Aerosmith, NY Dolls, Blue Oyster Cult, Black Sabbath, Jethro Tull Thick as a Brick line up, Deep Purple with their new singer...some guy named Coverdale lol etc.....
Deep Purple, Judas Priest and Bad Company..oh well Bon Jovi and Warlock. WASP. I think that's it, but I stopped going to concerts nearly 40 years ago so...oh yeah ZZ top for free in Hamburg Germany, sneaked into the arena through a bathroom window.
I saw Mercyful Fate doing a one-off show supporting Metallica on the Black Album Tour, and I'm pretty sure it was with the original line-up. Don't know if this counts, but I've seen Trend live many time with their original line-up that recoerded their first demo tapes before they released their only album. I think I've seen Twisted Sister with the OG line-up live too on some reunion tour, but I'm not entirely sure. Embarrassingly, I've seen Sound Of Seduction live with their OG line-up.
Quite a few when I think about it, all 80's to mid 90s in the UK - Aerosmith Bon Jovi Cinderella Motley Crue Def Leppard Faster Pussycat Guns N Roses The Tea Party Dokken Slayer Fear Factory ZZ Top Queen Marillion Metallica Stone Temple Pilots Testament Van Halen Xentrix Y&T
@@georgegsroomofrock9868 I started going to gigs in 1981 when I was 17 so I guess i'm just lucky enough to have been around in that era! Tickets were cheap then too of course.!
All original line ups... Black Sabbath x2 Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young Emerson, Lake & Palmer x2 Nashville Pussy x2 Linkin Park Pantera Rob Zombie x2 Slipknot System of a Down Tool White Zombie And yes, Weird Al
VH, Kansas, Def Leppard (and all their arms, too), Megadeth, Metallica, Pantera both versions, and too many others to name. Does 1981 Styx count since Tommy Shaw wasn't an original member? edit.... Oh, and SLAYER back when they were just Slayer. There were 80 people in the room, I still talk to 12 of them.
The Cult Vixen White Lion Aerosmith Kiss Stone Temple Pilots Poison Motley Crue U2 Toad the Wet Sprocket Supergrass Wild Colonials The Police Coldplay Duran Duran Los Lonely Boys Reverend Horton Heat Pixies Greta Van Fleet Ghost ?

When John Rutsey left RUSH, I tuned out. They were never the same after.

@@georgegsroomofrock9868 no it was with unearth and thine eyes bleed. It was in London Ontario
The last time we saw an original band with the correct members was in the 80s🤔😘✌️

Those are still some great bands to see on their heyday!
I actually haven’t been to very many concerts, Green Day is literally the only band that I have seen live with all of the original members.
That's ok they count!👍

@@georgegsroomofrock9868 Except Sound Of Seduction... they're trash IMO :D
That would be without the original drummer Kim Ruzz. Other 4 members would have been original
