its a pleasure, Laura is an awsome person and making this was realy fun, maby if Laura decides to go around the world again I will have another chance to make a sailing vid.
Hey crankatorium- we did sail into their path by accident, but that was during the pre-start so we didnt affect their race. I think that they just wanted to show-off so they came closer.
@mathijsdijkema Dat was Dick Dekker, Laura's vader. Hij sprak met Laura van achter de camera en klinkt zijn stem erg luid dus. (translation by Thomas Weber)
I'm a tow driver in u.s. midwest, hate it hear, the people suck, weather sucks, jobs suck, etc... been watching these sail vids for years since I did a month of boondocking on the west coast. there I seen so many sailboats and meet some pretty chill people but still not all that great except the weather was awesome at least compared to midwest. hoping to get to west coast again to stay, be a boondocker via diy camper van and get me a starter sailboat. would love to liveaboard but here there's alot of marine's that don't allow it and long list for one's that do. have to get better job to, don't care about having the fanciest boat or lifestyle but having extra 10k a year woud help pay liveaboard cost and boat insurance. here in u.s. irs gets ya 10% think 9-37k about and 25% 37k to something. so if your making say 38k you actually get less than if you make 37k. I don't even make 37k but when I do I want it to be over enough to make it worth it ya know. seeing how decker did the world thing in pretty simple boat and not much tech really was inspiration that motivates me to wanna get on that big water. kinda like a kid that like basketball watching jordan back on the day, kid may not wined up being next jordon but if he's inspired to get on a court and play he'll still have lived better off than sitting on butt watching bs tv sitcoms 20hrs a week. hell kids these days spend more than 40 hours a week in front of a screen during school months and practically no time outside anymore

@mathijsdijkema. Are you asking me sumthing? (english please)
At 0:32 did she make a mistake by going onto the course of the racing yachts?
👍👍👍🇺🇦
If I put a 16 year old on a sailboat by him/herself to sail around the world I'd be arrested for child endangerment.
