Talk about how an o line carried Cam into the endzone. THATS ILLGEAL.
yeah but honestly I rewatched that in slow mo, had that guy not been there Cam could have just gone in anyway, that dude was actually in his way from just laying it in.
@@ryant3600it’s just dumb all these anti Texas and anti SEC people pick one penalty in the whole game to talk about. He was carried in. I don’t care if he would have scored anyway. IT WAS EH-LEE-GO
How does a player carry another player while lying on their back bahahaha
ASU played without its top receiver and the first half without its best defensive player- ASU matched TX and dominated them in every category except one special teams play
@@mtmazin other words...asu played their BEST game of the season.....Texas played mediocre.....AND STILL WON😂😂😂
in the 4th qtr Cam had more offensive yards than the entire Texas offense had. Crazy
ASU was 3 and 9 last year (Kenny's first year as head coach). This year, before the Peach bowl, we were 11 and 2. And yes, Cam Scattaboo was a big factor this year. He's gone next year and we'll have to find a good replacement for him. The whole point here is to recognize what Kenny Dillingham has done in just his second year at ASU. We lost the Peach Bowl, and sure I'm sad that we lost. BUT you've got to admit Texas fans nearly had heart failure until that game was done and over with. ASU was just one play from winning that game. But, give him credit, Ewers came through on that 4th and 13 play in the first overtime to force a 2nd overtime. So for ASU, close but no cigar. Every game has a winner and a loser. Ask Oregon and Georgia (ranked 1 and 2 respectively). As a longtime ASU fan, I couldn't be happier with what has happened this year. Looking forward already to next year.
As proud as I am of Arizona St, it's still a glaring reminder of the athletic differences between B12,ACC, the Boise States and Indianas from the top SEC, B10 teams. I mean Scattebo killed himself for every yard and Leavitt ran for his life just to keep this game within reach. Ima be real here, if ASU wouldve won does anybody believe they would stay on the field with Ohio State? No, and Texas wont either. ASU fought but the athletic difference was easy to see. Thats what we're all up against. As Mountaineers, we gotta get some studs, you can only go so far without them. These, FCS, G5 kids ,to this point, won't get it for us.
As bad as I hate to admit it, there is probably a lot of truth to this comment. Teams like ASU and WVU will regularly have 2-3 guys on the field who will play in the NFL. The SEC and upper echelon B1G teams will have double that or more.
SKATEBO REMINDS ME SO MUCH OF OWEN SCHMIDT . THE BENGALS REALLY NEED A GOOD RB TO REPLACE JOE MIXON and PIRON... WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THIS ASU STAR 🌟. THIS IS COMING FROM A WVU FAN . THE BIG 10 REFS COMPLETLY RIGGED THAT GAME AGAINST YOU . 100% THAT WAS TARGETTING . NOT EVEN CLOSE . MONEY 💰 TALKS 👄 AND TEXAS HAS PLENTY OF IT .. THEY RUN 🏃♀️ THE COTTON BOWL 🥣
With a weak attitude you will always be weak. There is no strength in weakness.
"If you cant say it first means you cant do it"
Bro its not about what kind of recruit you get out of high school. it's about how you can mold that kid in your program. There should be a bigger emphasis on the kids development in the program. Think about how many 3 star recruits become top NFL drafts and ASU showed us that. You can have a top recruiting class in the beginning of a development phase and have a potato come out in 4 years and vice versa.
I have alot of friends, who are Sun Devils fans, out in the Tempe area. I've always followed them, since the days of Pat Tillman. I'm glad they have joined the Big 12. Hope they continue to excel. Unless they are playing WVU. Great work, Couz. 💙💛
@@WestVirginiaRocker thank you
AZ St. Won the moral national championship.
ASU fan here been watching your channel all season Couz , your analysis and breakdown are always great !
@@caleshtcincredibles thank you
You could literally hear the helmets hit too.
Good Lord. You can hear that on ever snap.
You could literally see the asu player launch himself into the Texas player.....left his feet and everything 😂
@@thekey1682 no. stop it. Texas gonna get whooped by OSU for this.
@@TruthHurtsAJP It's probably better that Texas loses to Ohio st......for your sake.....we wouldn't want those "moral victories" coming from Asu about how THEY should've been in the title gane if Texas wins 😳 🙄 😆 🤣
@@thekey1682 LOL 53 yards rushing whilst giving up 214? yea, everyone knows who's all puff. You guys were 1 bad play call away from missing the next round. A 1 dimensional team vs the actual best defense in the country? good luck. Ohio state about to put a beat down on y'all that the SEC and Texas will never forget. But hey! ya'll got a Manning in your roster though 🤩
Yeah let's talk about those "controversial" calls....no call on skatt being pulled into the end zone by his own linemen....the "targeting" non call on the asu player launching himself into the Texad players.....the multiple non holding calls on asu lineman😂😂😂yeah let's discuss the "controversial" calls
Was a fair game and wasn't targeting and gladly debate that with anyone
I never said the game wasn’t fair. Even former officials who work for the networks have said it was targeting. You’d lose the debate.
Every single professional rules analyst has called it targeting. Only randos on the internet like you insist it isn't.
@CouzsCornerSports I never said you did bro, was for the haters. I wouldn't because it was a football play. As a receiver are you gonna get crushed in the ribs or meet the hit down low? As a defender are you gonna go high and get ejected and targeting or you gonna go low so that ya don't? We have taken football out of football to protect the money and its sad. Both players are gonna go down low to meet each other there is no other way to tackle. Taffeta couldn't get any lower without risk to miss the tackle. We are gonna ruin football like we do everything else because God forbid we lose money which really is what it's about. In that case let's give em flags and then they don't have to worry. Player safety? When was football not dangerous, ya can't make a dangerous sport safe from all harm and trying to ruins it like now. Heck, even hockey got away from hitting lol
Fans and announcers hurt sports the past 10yrs as the rules have become soft or in many cases "player safety" as they say. Ya know what's safe, not playing football
We mess alot up ignoring common sense
@PatriotMapper like I said will debate, but you won't. Lol
Not targeting, people takin common sense out the play.
The Midwest is 2x defending sec champs now😂, and the big 12 got cheated again! Even coach Saban said so. Espn = the world wide lier in sports.
Couz I agree it probably was targeting. With their fg kicker I am not sure if they get to the 20 their in fg range.
@@bobswanger7623 that’s fair.
If the skattebo suplex into the end zone by the right tackle was officiated correctly it's a five yard penalty. Arizona State fans need to quit whining over one play when in reality Arizona State was only flagged 6 times to Texas 10. Arizona State ran 87 offensive snaps and not one holding call the entire game which is impossible even in the NFL. If anything Arizona State got many generous spots on third down runs. The game came down to Arizona State playing to their absolutely potential but the Texas talent was to much to overcome. Was Arizona State deserving with their effort? Yes, but there's no such thing as moral victories. If you can't stop a fourth and 13 on a shortened field in Red zone defense you can only blame yourself for letting a receiver beat you over the top in the middle of the field when the field is in your advantage as an extra man.
I've got to disagree with your opening statement about who is the better team. All that matters is points on the board and Arizona State stood a good chance of winning in regulation were it not for that blown call.
@@cfb1923 that’s fair.
Texas is way over rated. Look at their strength of schedule. Weakest schedule in the SEC.
Georgia proved twice that Texas is over rated.
Whatever.....13 & 2 Cry all you want! (Ha Ha Ha)
Cry all you want but at least do this...go look at the actual SOS ranking for Texas. I think you will be surprised when you see that it's the #11 ranked SOS in the country as per ESPN.
@@timwilliams8343 not crying it's a fact.. At least all of the other teams they played have had to earn their way, not have it given to them.
@@eltigre2941 Yep check SOS please do compare that with other teams in the SEC.
@ there were 6 teams from the SEC with a better SOS. Not sure what narrative you’re trying to paint here but the information is readily available for reference.
Every bowl team i rooted for lost . I'm convinced 😮. Either College Football is RIGGED 💰. OR theirs some real Sheninigans 😮 going on....
News for big 12 fans:
The big 12 did not earn any respect. Arizona State and Scattabo earned respect. No one thinks more of the conference because of that game. Sorry, just the way it is.
@@kah-vl8ti than that’s a short sighted view in my opinion.
@ programs don’t earn respect by conference affiliation. This is literally what we make fun of schools like A&M and ole Miss for. You earn respect when your team does something lol
@ I respect your opinion, but disagree. I think the game proved than the top teams in the Big 12 can compete with the top teams in the SEC.
Texas beat an ASU team without our number 1 receiver, one of our top defensive players was suspended the first half of the game and we had a suspect kicking game. And we still had a chance to win. It was clear that the refs were scared to make that targeting call because that would have given ASU a really good chance to win the game. God forbid a Big12 underdog team beats an overrated SEC team. Clearly the future playoffs will favor the SEC. Ohio will wax Texas.
Definitely hard not to feel that way with all that’s happened with the CFP and etc.
ASU should have own the game in regulation. The field goal that was blocked but still bounced over the bar. The ball was still alive should have counted!
Lmfao! Hey bro once the ball hits the turf on a field goal attempt it's a dead ball. Maybe basketball is better for you?
So back in the day when they did drop kicks. The ball was dead. According to the ncaa rule book. The ball is still alive until recover or out of play!
I also get the ncaa needs to have an sec team in the playoffs for the money
They cry loud in Arizona sheesh
Point to my former rant is this. People, like us, will try to tell you that 4 and 5 stars dont really matter but look at the last 4 remaining in the playoffs. Yes, they do, and one of them, Penn St, which will be the underdog of the 4 left made us look like we werent close to belonging the last 2 years. Hopefully we can get there.
@@ShannonMiller70 I don’t disagree.
The only way big 12 gets any props , is if Texas wins it all ! Other than that , they dont show up in big games ! A theme !
Texas is in the SEC not Big12😂
Arizona State was ripped off
Talk about conspiracy theorys..😅😂
They way Big 12 get prop. If they win national title in football. Plenty not about Texas, was national title in 2005.
The only teams that are going to be in the championship game is a sec and big 10 teams. Everybody else will be eliminated. it's fixed, the only thing that matters is views and money.
Almost only counts in hand grenades and horse shoes right ? If you are relying on one targeting call to win a game then you don't deserve to win. Scatter Bo that shaat ahahahaha
@@OutlawCommonFolk look, Milroe fumbled again! Haha
@@OutlawCommonFolk don’t forget Cornhole (bean bag toss). Almost only counts in that game too.

@@OutlawCommonFolk yeah, I’ve been struggling to remember stuff lately. Thanks for the help.
@@CouzsCornerSports happens to my old ass all the time ... join the club Old Pappy
it was by the book targeting ......at the time of the non call ASU has momentum and were driving. ASU was 6-1 in one score games and odds are they could have scored the game winner on that drive.
Texas had stopped ASU on multiple drives in plus territory and previously blocked a FG. ASU FG unit was 55% on the season--there are no guarantees they would have scored at all even given the penalty yardage. There could have been a turnover the following play or a 10+ yard loss. You can "what-if" all you want but so can I.
How was that not targeting?
