Adam always does a great job on explaining items in MS Server for you to get a real understanding of features in Server as well as most of the ways of accessing what you want to do.
Thank you for this lecture. You make things so simple to do. I really appreciate it.
This is great information and much easier than setting up an FTP site.
Great information and video Sir, waiting for all kinds of videos related to Windows Server and Windows Server Migration and Patching and Patch Management and Backup and various other real world practical troubleshooting scenarios for Windows Server and Windows Server configuration in VMWARE and Citrix environment etc etc
Thank you, sir!
yes that's is the great video
well done!
Thanks, man. I was having issues with "access denied" and found out the previous IT dude apparently didn't know what he was doing.
I added the user in, officially, to the shared drive, and I now have access.
Unfortunately I still can't access the folder remotely
When saving a new MS Office file or a file in a new location, and browsing for the location then the user is unable to save the MS Office file. A popup dialog box shows "Access Denied. Contact your administrator".
There is no permissions issue, as other non MS Office files can be opened, modified and saved in the same location.
If you create a share that end with a $ sign it is hidden. You cannot see it in the file explore and only access it directly via \\server\hiddenshare$
Yes, that is correct.
