This is a scene I worked on while streaming. About 25% of it was done offline which was mostly lighting adjustments, exterior work and minor detailing. Wanted to say thank you for helping me hit 40k subs which is pretty damn awesome. If you guys have any idea of what you would like to see more of from this channel, feel free to let me know.
In a way, the music matches the scenery. This piece "After the Storm" played among others in the last scene of Blood&Wine, with Geralt and Regis sitting at the campfire. In the morning, the player found himself there alone, amidst parting pain echoing through the emptiness. This alchemist's hut is also abandoned, just like the player's inner world at the end of TW3.
Man this is dope. Saw the livestream the other day but had to leave early. The finish product looks dope as hell... good job man. The lighting and shading just takes this to a whole new world fosho
This is art. Its so detailed and beautifully designed, it takes you inside that scene. Its obvious that you love what you do cuz no matter how skilled somebody is in level design, this kind of art can be done only with passion and love. Thanks for sharing this with us. Cheers! :)
omg that is so cool. I watched you do so much of this now that I see it all together it looks so amazing. you inspired me to do that amount of detail in all my levels in the game I'm making
A question for all the craftsmen out there: I often see, as here, a thick wooden beam directly above the fireplace, embedded in the masonry. Is this solution realistic? Wouldn't the wood char over time or even start to burn?
So i've been learning UE4 for the past week. I was wondering if you could enlighten me on how you get all the different props, and things in the scene? Do you custom make them with another software? I wouldn't think that you buy "packs" that have props, and all these pretty things in the scene.
Hey man, I really appreciate your job, and I want to start to do the same. Where or How you find these 3D Models (Mesh) ? Do you downloaded them ? Or, you created ?Thanks, and Nice job.
Maverick: If Epic will add volumetric fog and better atmosphere then this great scene would need to be re-uploaded once more. Please backup project files until features will arrive in UE4.
Hey mav did you get the house from the Old Village package in the marketplace and then you populated it with assets from inedible.red's packs as well as Evermotion then you are saying?
Honestly, I'd say it's up to your opinion and preferences. Because they both have their pros and cons, which is best is entirely up to the user and their thoughts.

This Witcher 3 soundtrack reminds me of a Green Mile Main theme soundtrack very similar.
I never noticed that, but you are right, some part of the melody is quite similar. Good ear.
Would you ever consider doing tutorials? Sharing some tips and pipeline type stuff.
Now all you need is an automail shop.

2 thumbs up (like are your videos are) that I have seen so far. keep up the good work.
My be one day you will find time to do a hole video tutorial.
How did you create the cross fade between shots? It is seems the UE Sequencer doesn't support fade between shots.
is it generally good to make separate parts to build stuff in unreal or can you just model a whole building inside out and import it into unreal.
Hey mav did you get the house from the Old Village package in the marketplace and then you populated it with assets from inedible.red's packs as well as Evermotion then you are saying?
When you design these sets, do you have some sort of concept art you're working from, or is it an idea in your head? thanks for the great videos

Maverick That's strange, I got her without anything bad happening, but that doesn't seem to be the norm.
Unreal engine better than unity?
depends on what type of game you want, if you prefer c++ or javascript, if you need help or not...
