  • This lesson (science of reading aligned) focuses on decoding words and using phonics skills to make words. Children will use phoneme manipulation skills to make words that will enable them to practice decoding words they know and don't know.

    Decoding words will become an easy task for children as they learn how to manipulate phonemes in words with and consistently practice these important skills.
    Understanding the sounds or phonemes that letters make and focusing on specific phonemes during a making words lesson, will help your child become a skilled reader!
