@@HiTecAztec 9.25 usd on 2000 is like 17 usd today, all in all it would be worth it to play such a great game. I don't have an arcade near me with Metal Slug, only time crisis and other such game, I played it on PS1 I think and it was a lot of fun
The arcade we played it at had the difficulty all the way up. I remember it cost $15(ish) and 2 of us playing to beat it. Plus we always had greasy pizza hands
"A lot of money" isn't how you describe it. This is the Arcade Archives version so it's either free or cheaper. Unless you record it from the ACTUAL arcade machine.

I didn't think you _could_ knife the guy! He's always shooting or throwing things so much that I can't get close enough! Thankfully though, I _did_ learn his pattern eventually.
@@phantomy2034 you can, but he'll just whip around his ammo belt and kill you if you stay too long. Subaru was able to do it by using the invincibility time after reviving.

It just seemed to me he's whipping the ammo belt since he's always holding it with his hand other than when he's throwing grenades. My mind (all these years) then tell me that he's whipping around the ammo belt, which is much more cooler in hindsight (imagine whipping an ammo belt around so fast and hard you killed a guy with it) Either way, the only way I know to knife fight Allen safely is closing in during the few second your character is invincible after reviving.
