On top of that, while he was in office, he inflated the prices of his properties so high and over charged the secret service to a point where they were quickly running out of funds for the first time since the service history.

Most Secret Service work actually involves pursuing counterfeiters. Protecting the president and other politicians is a small portion of what they do. Their highest level of protection is on the sitting president. Normally I would think Trump would get a little extra protection given how divisive he is, but a kid got a shot on him, so obviously something went wrong.
