If you have a roku tv you need to press the star button. Then go down to spoken audio and choose the desired language. It took me forever , but I finally figured out that you do it through your regular settings and not through Disney’s settings on the tv

Okay so I am going down memory lane and rewatching some of the shows I used to like as a kid. and when I go to a show (like pair of kings, had to use a VPN to get it since it isn't available in norway on disneyplus) the only selectable language is English.. Even when I know for a fact it has norwegian translation
I change it to English and a voice talk about what going on in the movie but it if it on other languages it doesn’t do that 😐 I’m stuck watching movies in Dutch 😭
I can help you! I had the same problem so go on the show/movie scroll down while it’s playing and it should give you audio/subtitles on audio change it to what language you want! I hope this helps!

Keep checking in as they are continuing to add language options and settings. They look for large demographics that use their platform, and it seems like Japanese would be a good fit.

The problem people are having is not subtitles or the app language. The problem is that all writing in the actual movie is changed depending on what country you view from. For example: I am viewing from Dubai so while watching Coco all the writing on signs or letters are now in Arabic. How do I get that back to English like in the original movie?

Hi. Can you choose Dutch subtitles for ALL movies ? With netflix it depends on the movie. I'm living in Germany but I am Dutch speaking. However not all netflix movies have Dutch subtitles. I called them already and it seems something with the rights in different countries. So I was wondering if Disney plus is more flexible. That would be a reason for me to subscribe.
