and before anybody starts to talk about small batteries and what not on the iPhone 16 pm Yes, in most cases, using a lower screen resolution can help save power. Here's why: * Less Data to Process: Lower resolutions mean fewer pixels need to be illuminated and updated. This reduces the workload on the device's processor and graphics chip, which in turn consumes less power. * Reduced Backlight Intensity: With fewer pixels to light up, the overall brightness of the screen can be reduced without significantly impacting the perceived image quality. Lower backlight intensity directly translates to lower power consumption.
According to research I have seen the difference in battery consumption between 1.5K and QHD is about 6%, and that was a few years ago, so I suspect with new display tech that is now less. As the iPhone has a 25% smaller battery than rivals that still makes it significantly more efficient than the other phones. And most experts say that QHD is overkill for bragging rights unless you use VR. The optimum is 1.5K, and even 1080p would be more than good enough for most.

Iphone 14+ lasted only 4:30 hours
And most phones barely ran 5 hours on that test
Pls try call of duty mobile and tell me how long it played it on medium graphics and ultra frame rate you can post the video on your channel
@SonicYT.official still around 11-12 hours non stop
I can't do tests 12 hours long it's too long.....
@@Smzxe true but it won't bet the iphone 16 pro Max
Please compare iQoo13 and Vivo x200 pro camera's. Do both video and photo comparsions, specially people. When comparing camera's focus more on people rather than buildings, flowers etc., usually people want to take their own photos and make their own blogs. Thanks.
Keep in mind, this was a very tough test. None of us use our phones like this.even put my phone on battery saver mode
Can you do charging test for vivo please
Me wondering why my x8 sucks battery overnight
While also being worse than my realme gt5
Despite having more efficient processor.
and before anybody starts to talk about small batteries and what not on the iPhone 16 pm
Yes, in most cases, using a lower screen resolution can help save power. Here's why:
* Less Data to Process: Lower resolutions mean fewer pixels need to be illuminated and updated.
@andyH_England 😂😂😂😂 You trying to justify the low resolution on the iPhone 16 pm, no excuse man no excuse for that price should be at 4K and for the heat part the CPU will GPU on the other three are running harder
@@macgyvermac2344 There are no 4K smartphones so what are you drinking? Even Sony that had 4K never used it apart from 4K video. Anyone with technical knowledge will tell you that 4K is stupid on a phone. In fact if you ask AI, most suggest 1080p is the sensible option as it optimises battery life (12% better SOT than QHD).
@@andyH_England You clearly missed the point 😂😂😂😂😂😂 it's okay, now as I did say, at that price it should have been running 4K easy, I'm going to say it again it doesn't justify the lower resolution on the iPhone 16 pm, to say it have good battery performance, 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@macgyvermac2344 Only techies care about 1.5K or QHD. Apple targets the core market who do not think about stuff like that. It is why Apple makes 85% of all smartphone profits, they do not cater for the tiny niche techie demographic, wheras LG did, and where is LG now?
The Vivo X200 Pro is an overall win for me.
Where is s24 ultra xioami??
Vivo x220 pro and iphone 16 pro max both lower resolution than iQoo 13 and OnePlus 13
Iam Vivo x200 pro using bettery good .camera amazing
How Come iQoo 13 beaten?
Yay VIVO!! 🤠
your using app monitor on the three android phone that also consume battery in the background and don't use benchmark for battery life because the three android push their limit for performance and your iphone throttled to save battery life
Please try the Huawei mate 70 pro plus
Your iPhone's battery would have been the first to drain if you had run the test all the way. It's a completely invalid test, except for those who have never seen a battery drain test. The iPhone is the last to drain the first percent of the battery, but it drains faster than the rest of the iPhone.
I would choose one plus for everything.
