This is definitely the best Smartphone camera this year. Its a shame that big techtubers like MKBHD just fly over this thing, as it is very very noticeable that he didn't even test these properly. I know that to be a fact because of other tech tubers actually engaging with other brands like Oppo, Vivo and OnePlus and they not only talk about improvements, no they also show it to us. The iPhone camera has been suepassed for the last 2 years now yet people like MKBHD seem to like the easy to usability more than the camera power itself which is so weird. Or he claims video is the best on iPhone, while that is also not really true anymore as other phones also support a RAW video recording and outperform the iphones in many regards of video as well. Thankfully we have techtuberslike this guy, who don't just take photos of his bureau to "compare" quality..
pretty mkbhd did mention about the vivo x200 pro in his smartphone award video that he will review the phone if it didn't come out this late thru 2024.
You guys are hilarious. How do you just give a phone that’s barely 3 months old an award??? Let it stand the rest of time so a proper review and an award can be given to it. It’s a pretty solid camera I agree. But let’s give it sometime. S24 ultra had the best camera and battery when released, after few months it became terrible, battery sucked and the camera was mediocre
Vivo x200 pro being compared from this insanely good yet expensive professional cameras in terms of cam tech, shows you how beastly the Vivo x200 pro is!
I use a x100Pro and a dedicated Canon R8 for street photography, and I can tell you these "influencers" are using easy shots that cannot really show you the difference between a dedicated camera and smartphone. I have pictures to back this up, so yeah ... Do not forget they are influencers, and they do not do any of this for "free". He shows you examples of a freaking statue in "Portrait" mode in amuseum in perfect lighting :))))) .... now go and shoot moving people in mediocre light and see who wins.
@@sirab3ee198Yep. Any smartphone camera system will take a great shot when you throw a ton of light at the tiny sensor. This is genuinely insane. How a much more affordable phone with such a compact form factor can go toe to toe (and sometimes even beat) huge professional grade ultra expensive cameras. Photography has never been so accessible.
We already know that vivo x200 pro is already ahead of other smartphones therefore you better do the night time comparison of the vivo with the DSLR in different lighting conditions. Also if you truly want to test the capability of the zoom lens then you have to compare it to an 85mm lens on the DSLR and zoom in digitally on the photo and compare that to the zoomed in photos of the phone. This way it would be really fair.

@@pierdosurf3909it's very worth it, but also keep an eye out for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. It will have the X100 Ultra's 1 inch sensor (LYT-900) while also using the same 200MP sensor as the X200 Pro for its periscope (at 4.3x zoom). While also adding *another* zoom lens.
I'd love to see some comparisons with iphone 16 pro max in video department, specially log footage, since vivo can shoot 4k 60 log internal on all lenses.. would like to see how it compares with iphone log.. Other than that, make sure you toy with the settings, changing contrast, sharpness and so on.. photos can look way better straight ou of the phone.. remember those setting are dependent on the mode (vivid, texture or zeiss) And take a look at the 50mp raw photos from telephoto too..
Vivo x200 pro has better 100x zoom than any other smartphone on the market. This phone can capture amazing zoomed photos compared to S24 Ultra. You should've test 100x zoom on other structures or nature to find out it's true processing!
Because the processing of smartphones don't always look good. For example, Vivo phones take good looking images, but they look way too processed for a professional camera. The only phones that I've seen so far that don't do this, are the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Especially the Xiaomi had great colour science for a phone. The biggest issue with phones is the aggressive HDR. Phones want to have everything evenly exposed. I hate it.
DJI m43 camera will soon address this problem. The traditional brands simply refused to budge from their positions. Just like NISSAN refused to improve.
Color science and details (oversharpening doesnt't count as details) way better on camera, phone photos are like frozen pizza, can be still ok but no comparison to fresh one.
If you gonna take the shots like this guy did for image comparisons then you will be wasting your money on buying A7 IV or any other dedicated camera. When it comes to X200 Pro the only telephoto focal length that phone has is 85mm, everything else is a sensor crop and it has no physical features of zoom lens as you zoom in.
It doesn't make sense to compare digital zoom from a phone to an optical zoom from a camera the way you did with that statue photo. Put them on the same optical zoom, your lens already had the advantage of being atleast 100 mm.
I say this is just an example for interest. Comparing how the 100x looks against something better - the zoom lens is a digital crop as well as the reach is only 400mm
@@ItsTomRich yeah i know, my point is that the digital crop of the camera is from a 400mm optical image while it is a crop from a 85mm image on the vivo, so there aren't any even grounds for a comparison, if you took the camera image at 100mm then croped, there might be more grounds for comparison, despite the camera still having the advantage of a longer optical zoom 100mm vs 85mm, it would be more interesting if the camera also had an 85mm optical lens, cherio.

I have the Vivo x90 pro plus, a beast, but this X200 has the 1" photographic sensor???
No it’s a smaller sensor than last year. But the telephone is improved
@@ItsTomRich do you honestly think it's worth upgrading the photographic sector from the x90 pro plus to the 200pro??
@@pierdosurf3909even if u upgrade it to x100 pro,its already worth it,let alone x200 pro
I've been seriously considering this phone until I read that Vivo supports with updates for just 3 years
Where can we find this statement ?
4 years
this gets 4 years OS updates and 5 years security updates
Great, thanks!
1:48 vivo just beat the DSLR
Not really.
But the Vivo is already "edited" where the professional camera still requires a bit of editing.
Something tells me that the end of Mirrorless cameras has started!
I'd love to see some comparisons with iphone 16 pro max in video department, specially log footage, since vivo can shoot 4k 60 log internal on all lenses.. would like to see how it compares with iphone log..
Other than that, make sure you toy with the settings, changing contrast, sharpness and so on.. photos can look way better straight ou of the phone.. remember those setting are dependent on the mode (vivid, texture or zeiss)
And take a look at the 50mp raw photos from telephoto too..
Please compare it with Honor Magic 7 Pro
If this one got an SD Elite, many would buy this
Vivo x200 pro has better 100x zoom than any other smartphone on the market. This phone can capture amazing zoomed photos compared to S24 Ultra. You should've test 100x zoom on other structures or nature to find out it's true processing!
Дайте сравнение vivo x200pro vs vivo x200pro mini /camera zoom
Vivo tiene las mejores cámaras hasta el momento
Can somebody put the processing power of a smartphone into a "professional" camera? Game over. Why nobody is doing this?
Becoz they prefer manualy
@@tatsern05 Well the option would still remain for manual use, like how we have M A P S modes for example.
I hate it.
"Phones want to have everything evenly exposed. I hate it."
I lik3 this sentence 👍
Vivo is insane this year.
By the way, won't you give the giveaway result? 😊
Likes are not met yet, but I will adjust if it they are not met and planning something even bigger 🙏🙏

Vivo x200 pro is the king of smartphone camera now 🔥
The S25 ultra will be a contender (once it comes out, obviously)
wow just wow😮
I own the x200 pro global version and love the camera so far. Way less lag than my Samsung S23 Ultra.
your S23 U lags also?
Compare it with the Xiomi 14 ultra it's also one of the best camera phone out there
DJI m43 camera will soon address this problem.
The traditional brands simply refused to budge from their positions.
Just like NISSAN refused to improve.
So Basically, big expensive cameras are good for producing 'professional looking shots' while the vivo produces better shots.
Got it!
Color science and details (oversharpening doesnt't count as details) way better on camera, phone photos are like frozen pizza, can be still ok but no comparison to fresh one.
You need to do a ONEPLUS 13 comparison. I heard it's camera is as good as this x200 pro.
If the X200 Pro is this good what will X200 Ultra bring to the table
Main sensor at 35mm (instead of 23mm)
New imaging chip
Snapdragon Elite chip
Please do more comparison with dslr
i dont know what settings you were using but i feel that you deliberately wanted the phone to shine
Other companies should learn a thing or two from Vivo.
Thanks.
If only they kept the 1 inch main sensor this phone would be a no brainer. But I'd rather have the 1 inch.
It doesn't make sense to compare digital zoom from a phone to an optical zoom from a camera the way you did with that statue photo. Put them on the same optical zoom, your lens already had the advantage of being atleast 100 mm.
Give me the time code?
@@ItsTomRich5:40
I just sold my Sony 7C2 camera to use Vivo x200pro for travel.
Most of case there are not difference between smartphone and mirrorless camera but sports and animal shooting no way smartphone can handle.
Video comparison please!!!!!!!!!!
Vivo x200 pro❌ Zeiss lens ✅
Coco will be my next phone.
