Hey friend watching while working 🤗 Awesome communication tips 💕🫶
Thank you so much, it's hard to give advice on this particular subject as I'm sure there are many other ways, but these are the methods I use and they've worked for me (so far 🤭)
My Mum had chronic mental health issues. She had bpd undiagnosed for decades. She died last year way before her time. It's amazing your a mental health nurse, the profession needs more people like you helping people like my Mum ❤
Oh Suzi I am ever so sorry to hear this 🥺 thank you so very much, I hope I can make a difference to others 🙏🏽🥲🤍
@@Faye.Louise22 you will be amazing xx
Thank you so so much 😭❤❤❤
Catching up with your vlogs!! 😊
Such Great tips' and yes! Never promise! If a pt. Need something esp. For pain management.. they always want their prn meds eventho it's not time yet' I always say " let me see what I can do...''
And pt. Safety is 💯 priority!
This is so intresting, for me I wouldn't know how to communicate with patients in the mental health ward' I find it very challenging. I have tried being a nursing assistant in a mental health setting' we have to check on them every 15mins..it was hard for me'.... these tips are very helpful! Bless your heart for handling these patients well my friend ❤️
Thank you so much 🥲 yes make no promises! That is a good way to phrase it, 'let me see what I can do' because we can't guarantee anything as anything can crop up at any moment, so it's best to go minute by minute and not promise anything in the future. Yes definitely 100% priority for sure ❤ thank you, there are lots of people who have told me they struggle with it, so I hope this video helps 🙏🏽🥺❤ it's a very tough role isn't it, but so rewarding 🥲 oh my goodness, thank you so so very much 😭😭😭❤
Thank you Faye such a great helpful video ❤
You're very welcome 🥰 I hope they're helpful? It's difficult to explain the methods I use and I'm sure there are many more better ways out there, but I have only had student experience so far 🥰❤
