  • These are the things I wish I knew when I started 😊:
🫶🏽green thumbs are not a thing! And this is one of the best parts about plant care for me ✨ I didn’t know much about plant care when I began, but it’s been such an amazing experience to get into this world and teach myself to be observant, to get to know them and just like I would with any other person, to grow a relationship with them day by day. I’ve grown as a plant parent day by day! So my friend, if you don’t have a “green thumb” welcome to the club 🙌🏼✨🪴
🫶🏽start with ☝️one: quality is better than quantity 🪴✨ When you bring that one plant home, you will have the time to enjoy your plant and learn the best care for her.
🫶🏽Know your space 🏡 Before you bring that plant home, know your space. What kind of light do you get at home? How’s the air around you (I.e dry? More humid?), how much space do you have - how big can your plant grow? Knowing your space will help you determine which plant will be best for you and your home 😉
🫶🏽yup, plants bring pests 🪲 to prevent them:
👉🏼check the plant before you buy
👉🏼quarantine your new plant if possible for two weeks and observe her before placing it with the others
    👉🏼clean your plants regularly
🫶🏽 clean plants regularly: not only to prevent pest infestations, but also to connect with them mindfully ✨let me know if you’d like to learn my clean solution 😉
🫶🏽understand light for your plants and how much they need so they thrive and grow ! Light is such an important factor, please let me know if you’d like me to post more about this topic below!
🫶🏽our plant community here on Instagram is an amazing community ! There are so many amazing creators and humans here to make friends. Say hello and let’s meet and talk plants 👋🏼

I started with five plants, got a little excited, watch youtubers garden all the time and was somehow still baffled when thrips got in mine and infested everything. It's been a little pricey trying to keep them safe which sucks but my partner and I agreed we are in it for the sake of making the plants safe and happy. but this channel definitely helps a beginner like me understand things.
