Sometimes you just need a horror movie where everyone just fucking dies because they keep fucking with shit they don't understand.
Well this one does maybe the studio audience lives.
@@SlasherInSuitsI took it as the audience lives, I mean with the main characters as "everyone"
Gus and the Doc were the only people smart enough to know they shouldn't be fucking with it and they end up totally wrecked. I feel bad for them and Christou
That’s what happens when you focus on Content and ratings more than your life and reputation.
I WANT ALL PODCAST AND TALK SHOW HOSTS TO WATCH THIS AND LEARN THIS LESSON.
Gus didn't deserve that
That extra scene where he hears the ambulance and realizes Christou might have died is what takes this film from a great film to a masterpiece
Justice for Gus 2024 😢 Bro was my favorite character
Well he made it to almost the end.
He really was !!!
rio gushed🙏
Gus deserved better.
He was smart enough to realize that he should *probably* gtfo, but sadly didn’t.
I loved Gus ❤😊😢
Something I noticed, there was a VHS glitch before something scary happened every time, but there wasn't one before the worms come out of Gus, that was a hint that it wasn't actually happening.
I felt so bad for Gus, the audience in my theatre gasped and were like “nooo” when his neck snapped.
Agreed. Poor Gus didn't deserve it, though I was absolutely giddy when Carmichael got it.
I don't think this guy understands that the hypnotist was actually the devil and once he hypnotized everyone, everything afterwards was an illusion up until the host woke up standing there over those bodies. The girl killing those people wasn't real. He actually killed everyone himself.
@@JuliusTurner-hm6ff Dude, shut the hell up with your lame fan theories.
What really.
@slyfi5363 its not a theory dude. He was standing there at the end, terrified, hoping he was still hypnotized while trying to break the hypnosis, because he heard sirens and knew he was going to prison. Why would he think he was going to prison if he knew it was real and had a live audience and video to prove she killed everyone genius? I bet you punched the keyboard a few times just to type that post. Lol.
Saw the trailer randomly today and saw it after getting off from work. Worth the watch. I really enjoyed the acting from the skeptic.
I saw this last night and loved it! I'm wondering when all the videos explaining the ending are going to drop.
Oh yeah didn’t I explain it or ending explained.
I like how it has no nudity and isn't 4 hours long
The ending is pretty simple. The guy is mourning the loss of his wife due to lung cancer but she never smoked and has to go back on the show to increase ratings. But its pretty clear that he sacrificed his wife for tv ratings given he joined a highly rich and suspicious club of men with elite status, and the guilt tripping of his dead wife’s spirit (rly the devil using his dead wife’s imagery to mess with him). In the end, it could be seen that the dude went on a maniac spree and literally killed a child live on air. He got the views and ratings he wanted, but prolly not the way he expected. Well thats the devil for ya!
@@hippobreath3703 what? I never heard that. So he killed everyone on stage, I got to do a spoiler stream or something and hear all these theories.
@@SlasherInSuits well its pretty well implied it was he that committed the killings at the end of the movie. He was def dreaming stuff. U remember how there was always vhs static everytime that little girl did something? Well throughout the film at some point that she stops doing it. I think at that point he was in a trance or not seeing reality. The devil was fulfilling his contract but oh boy he was in for a surprise
Late Night With The Devil was so freaking great. It was so well done and had my eyes glued to the screen right from the beginning! It’s so good.
Loved the original idea, set design and costume was almost flawless, I predicted all the deaths but still enjoyed it a lot. 8 out of 10 for me!
It could be 9 or 10 for me. I loved it. And this year has been so bad so far.
Just saw it.. It was so good and so trippy especially towards the end. It reminded me of an A24 film.
True it was like a 100 production companies at the beginning.
Lilly was almost crossing the proton streams, Ghostbusters-style, there at the end.
There was no bad people in this movie that’s what makes it so sad everybody in the movie is trying to eiether prove the Devil exists or fraud exists or they are trying to help a friend
Or help people deal with lost relatives
The host could be considered bad but not really. For going through with it.
@@SlasherInSuits I think he’s doing it ro prove evil
Is real after what happened with him what he saw you know what I mean
They’re all “bad” in the sense that they gave the devil a platform
@@drugsarebad97 dab b they are doing it to expose him though
It’s always nice to have a horror movie that’s not like the last 400 horror movies.
Yup, still doing unique things.
Gus pulled a Tommy Boy on the table
10/10. Amazing movie. I just pissed off all the trailers and youtubers online ruined the full movie by showing EVERY supernnatural scene in the movie b4 i even got to cinema and see it
Lol im so happy i didnt watch any trailers...it was that much more shocking in theatres
but the trailer for this movie didnt give anything too
Don't watch trailers. They ruin movies.
Poor Gus 😢he was my favorite character
Wait i thought this was not available on streaming yet? How were you able to show all the kill counts...
It’s available in select theaters.
My theater was showing it
Pirate movies
I just watched this today and I loved how alot of the deaths were foreshadowed at the start/middle of the movie
Woah was it?
My wife and i talked about this..... seeing the child's (can't remember her name right now) head split up and that ethereal flame light up and her eyes glow and it stays dishing out punishment without saying anything...... it was super unsettling to watch. Not because it was the scariest thing ever, but because i can't recall a demon / possession ever being portrayed that way!
It was equal parts cool and shocking!!
2nd favorite horror movie ever
And the light was kind of beautiful but even more terrifying because of its beauty, very haunting and a great payoff in the end
@@laneythelame - 110%!
Nah it said something “abracadabra” 😂shit was savage then burnt the skeptic alive
@@neonisbacon - I'll have to check that out on shudder when it becomes available. Such a good movie!
I agree with the ending I also thought it was unsettling in the same way. But my girlfriend and I saw it twice and we loved the movie. The second time was for us to see and listen to stuff we didn’t see the first time, like the whole cult story leading up to the ending, Jacks wife appearing in the mirror in the first backstage break, and just to understand the ending better. And I didn’t notice it but my girlfriend did, like the one comment mentioned Lily (the little girl) does say “abracadabra” right before she burns up that check and burns the guy alive. It was a muffled staticky voice tone which is how I missed it the first time.
I really enjoyed how casual this review was… Pretty funny bro…
LIFE IN THE ' 70S WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!
I bet it’s better now. Lol
Not for the Vietnam veterans like my Dad. 😢
Best review u talk and show the clips finally
Thanks this one was easy because the clips weren’t claimed all the time and used for promotion.
Yeh bring a bunch of body bags pleaseeeee
This movie was so good I managed to get my dad to go with me to the theater to watch it what a masterpiece
After I saw Christou throw up that black ‘gunk’, I would’ve left the studio no questions asked…..unseen forces were working that day🤣😂
Yeah at that point it was still iffy.
Fantastic!
Agreed.
This WAS the only full clip of this scene, until youtube fucked it all up
This movie was pretty generous with copyright. Trailer and clips, the other one has more footage.
So did he kill everyone or did all that happen and he needed to kill Lilly?
That's the beauty of the film. You can have your own opinion. I think he killed Lilly while she was possessed. My opinion of course
@@ericortega1745I think he was being possessed/ tricked by his wife’s vengeful spirit for sacrificing her and he kills Lilly in the real world thinking it was his wife
The demon killed everyone. There’s no way Jack could melt Carmichael like that. What we saw was real until the tv cuts off and Jack goes through his visions. Then he stabs Lilly thinking it’s his wife, coordinated by the demon.
@@evanrushing7495I think it was the demon doing the possession/tormenting. His wife has no power. The demon even said that they met in the trees, his wife wasn’t there. It was all part of the deal Jack made with the demon to make Jack #1. But Jack didn’t know it would kill his wife and cause this catastrophe. I’d like to think that when he did meet his wife, that was really her in the afterlife and not an illusion.
@@evanrushing7495but didnt his wife wanted him to be put out of her misery?
This looks a lot like the cleansing hour 2019🤔
Never heard of it.

Thanks alot. There’s a lot this weekend
i kinda liked this one
Me too.
Wait he had a dead wife who died of lung cancer?... as in she was dead and then died of lung cancer?... my god
Is that what I said? Lol that’s funny double dead
@@SlasherInSuits lol I'm just being an ass... I knew what you meant😊
gus 😢😢😢😢
Did bro not watch the movie?
I saw it what do you mean?
Bxd,!!!
Lol you didn't show nothing just talk
I have an updated video. Two of them where I show the ending deaths. But this is the video people watch.
dude blow your nose.
I watched today and it wasn't good 😕
That’s a hot take. But okay not for everyone
@@SlasherInSuits Wasn't my type of horror
Dude, wtf type kill count was this bs? Do better
I have a new one up now.
This shows how garbage movies are now. That THIS aboetion on film is considered "great". Great garbage is still garbage.
It’s not for everyone I guess, I see universal praise for this one, until now.
Movies today SUCK. This is an ok movie being touted as a masterpiece. Back in the 70's and 80's, this would have been a good mid-tier movie mostly shown at Drive-Ins. In 2024, due to the abominable competition it has, it is "THE BEST FILM OF THE YEAR". Hee HAH! People today don't know much.
Shut your mouth boy
Everyone is sick of you!!!!!
Well this year has been extremely slow until now.
And what are you? Not a person of today? Are you a time traveler?
And you know everything. Cool. Make your own movies - seeing as you seem to think it's that easy- and let people like what they want
Your narration isn't helping.
Your comment isn’t either.
