Paradox-Free Time Travel is Possible

The authors found that rather than resulting in contradictions, an infinite number of solutions exist for the ball's trajectory, implying that classical mechanics cannot handle this scenario well, but quantum mechanics can. In quantum theory, objects follow multiple paths simultaneously, and contradictions dissolve because of the probabilistic nature of quantum trajectories.
The misconception that the Many Worlds Interpretation of quantum mechanics resolves the paradox is clarified. Instead, quantum mechanics itself, regardless of the interpretation, allows paradoxical events without violating laws. Thus, paradoxes like the grandfather paradox are only problematic when viewed from a classical perspective. However, despite these findings, known physics still does not allow for practical time travel since certain quantum conditions needed to hold open a wormhole have not been observed.
