Good to add labels. A part of me can eyeball which size drill bit I need but I also like to know the exact number for when the needs calls for it, and usually we don't know anymore if we took them out of their original case / labels.
Since I don't remember, and I'm not at home to measure them, let me tell you how I would do it if I could do it over. I'd cut the holes to the depth that would leave 3/4" of the bit sticking out. For the small bits, I did a 1/2" hole. and worked my way up. The largest hole I drilled was 1 1/8". I'd do 1 3/8" for the 1/2" bits if I made it again.
I'd rather tell you what I'd do if I did it over again. I'd drill the holes so that 3/4" of each bit is sticking out of the top. For the small bits, I used a 1/2" forstner, then worked my way up 1 1/8". If I did it over again, I'd go up to 1 3/8", but I guess it would depend on how many bits you plan to store.
The band is Transatlantic. The album is Whirlwind. The song is For such a time as this. What you heard was my cover of that song. I record all my own music. t's a fantastic album by the way.
It would’ve been helpful if you put a voiceover describing what you’re doing instead of the background music.
I agree with you. This video was early on in my channel, and I was still figuring out the best ways to present the content. I got better over time!
Much better than that plastic option I saw on related video Wood workers love wood End of
Outstanding! Great tunes too ... thanks for sharing!
The song is fantastic!
The project is a lot of work! Gave me idea to do something with pill bottles. THANKS

Thank you for the time you've put in - producing an excellent video to guide many of us.
What do the colors symbolize? What is the importance? Brad point? Etc?
You can eyeball and sort them by row (bigger = on the upper rows), then the color tells you exactly where to put it
that looks awesome well done mate hello from Australia.
Love this! Thanks for making and sharing this!
Thank you!
This is the best idea I have seen for storing drill bits and it looks lovely, thank you.
Thx, this weekends project.

Great job, I did the same thing.
That's fantastic 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
good idea but I don't think I could look at them colors all day
Just make it without the colors or paint it another color that you like.
Can you tell me the depth of each level and what size holes you used on each level?
