The last time my life changed was 13 months ago. We were broke and pushing to build a business during Covid. We lost 2 business due to the lockdowns in IL, as well as our house, 2017 Ford Mustang, and our Life & health insurance policies. We fled to Florida and have been rebuilding ever since. Then on Dec 30, 2020, we signed the paperwork for a 6 unit property by the beach for $1.26 M without using any of our own money or credit. That million dollar asset technically made us millionaires and the mindset shift was gold.
My last change was when my father started to get weaker a few years ago and I realized that I was the now the strong male father in my family that everyone looked to. Three kids and beautiful wife. Just bought our first home last year during the pandemic and now I'm changing careers into home inspection. This channel has helped push ne forward mentally and I can't thank you guys enough for the content! I am a future Billionaire and I am here to be Inspired!

When my Father passed away in April of 2022, I can't explain the instant shift I had from boy to man. It's like my immaturity, matured.. It's like my mindset shifted. I instantly knew what needed to get done, and handled it. A career I wanted to attempt, but put off for 8 year's, is something I finally started to pursue. I budgeted my money better, and handled my time more wisely. My confidence has excelled in every aspect of my entire life. I like to think that, that was the last gift my Dad ever gave me. It's really sad that I can't thank him for that, but I want to thank him for it. I want to make him proud with every succes I achieve, and that's what drives me from morning until night. The third stage and I'm GOLDEN I'm 38 210 pounds , down from 280 , I'm a long distance runner. Completing 12 marathons last year. I've survived my first year of Business now I'm about to turn up the volume. The crazy thing is. I'm in complete control ! I'm smart , kind of lazy , and I have a decent amount of heart ❤️ ! I know these things thanks to you guys. Took the goal mastery class again . Last year I had to fix my money. I did that now the low one is my relationships..... Honestly I'm not in a big hurry to work on them because I'm the guy my " friends " call when they need something. I have always been the problem solver for them. I think I may have to up my circle a bit. ......
GOLDEN Happy to report that life is moving in a very positive direction. Especially after failing being a pre-med, that experience shocked me and forced me to be highly reflective. It took a little while, but there is a clear goal now, and I am happy that I graduated this past year from a post-graduate program to specialize in healthcare communications. Focusing pretty close to all of my time towards finding a good job and building a new sideline that is adapted from a previously failed business. More than anything, I am looking forward to buying a beautiful home of my own. Moving into that home with my best friend, buying her a ring, and starting a family with her. I am excited for the life ahead and, in a bizarre way, almost glad that I failed being a pre-med at university because I would not be here now, with the plan that I have now without going through that experience.
31 now, I only moved out last year which is fairly late (in part due to London property prices) but my perspective has certainly changed already and loving it every bit of it. Thanks Alux
Nope.... it wasn't the London property prices, it was an unwillingness to do it no matter what, you wanted a certain lifestyle etc. I moved out at 17, and my first "apartment" was a ONE room with restrooms and showers shared by all the rest of people living there, that's how much I wanted my independence.... I wasn't "running" from home, my early Homelife was fine and happy, but getting independent was important to me, I wasn't going to wait for the property values to come down or until I had enough for some bigger place... if you really want it you do it. I know that at this point you might say "You don't know my circumstances, I had unique situations, etc etc". we all have unique situations.
I'm 25, before starting my new life in a career since I just finish my major, my life took a major turn, a lot of amazing people help me out I and I was able to pull a 3 month trip far away from home, now my life changes drastically, I don't even know if I will go back home I'll try my best not to, and find a good lasting job to build wealth and help those who help me back, so the future right now seems golden to me, I was going to a negative space of mind before since I was a little surrounded by a lot of people feeling sad constantly so I thought I was the weird one for being happy, and became a little negative, now it's a different game that's golden
My last child of four has just left home as a single mum for 26 years this is my first time since I was 21 I have been by myself it's definitely a game changer .... GOLDEN

True about relationships - take the time needed, esp. before having kids. It's the advice I give every younger person I know. I'm in a transition myself - single mom of two teens, just trying to guide them towards independence. They have it way easier then I did as a kid, which I'm glad about, but also realize that it's harder for them to learn self-reliance. I was one of those kids who mostly raised myself - learned things the hard way. I love being a mom, but my biggest regret is picking the wrong partner(s). If I had kept my career path (and money habits) when I was in my very early 20s, and didn't give it all up for "love", I'd be a millionaire right now, instead of struggling at the bottom financially. Now that my kids are old enough and don't need my full time care like they used to (special needs), I'm trying to start over. Your videos have helped remind and motivate me to actively take the next steps forward. Thanks!
Have a 13 year old, now re- married and were expecting our first child together. Wasn’t expecting this but it’s the change that life brings. Our family is embracing it. The feeling of change is scary but Golden.

Golden. I'm not certain where I am at life but I do know that the changes I've made through life have impacted my life trajectory greatly. Still, I cannot help but come away with the feeling like I still have yet to find my true self -- that person I was meant to be. I also feel deeply that the person I was meant to be is being held back somehow. It's not always about financial gain but instead personal development and growth -- that ability to make an impact in everything. I feel as though I am missing that level of fulfillment and I haven't quite figured out how to get it. My journey, such as it is, does not feel anywhere near complete and I work each day to move that needle forward.
@7:20 This happened to me when I needed to go to Uni. My parents and teachers grew up in apartheid SA. They were not allowed to go to university so they studied at designated colleges where you could either become a teacher or a nurse so when it came to advising me about university they were very lacking, I had to go and find out for myself. It's very sad when you see your brilliant dad or your brilliant physics teacher do not have the answers because they don't know that there is such a thing as a BCom Marketing, BCom Info Systems or BCom Stats etc. and the lucrative careers that can follow those degrees so they give you very limited advice that can derail your career forever. 🙁

According to this list, I am between my father dying (10 years ago) and my daughter moving out (10 years from now). The real change I am encouraging, is changing my business model from short term rentals (I have 7) to long term rentals (I want 300 by the end of the year). While the cashflow is higher with AirBnb, the workload is as well and I am in this place where it has prevented me from growing. With long term rentals, I can buy apartments and hire people to manage them for me (With AirBnb in my market we can't find competent cleaning crews so we do it ourselves and that takes its toll). I can't grow if I am working IN my business, only if I am working ON my business...

My father died when i was 18, I moved out abroad when i was 20, started first company at 22, a successful company when I was 25 and even better at age 33, managed to buy an apartment at age 32, my daughter was born when i was 33. I am planning to build a house and i still did not find myself even though i am doing this for years now. I only know the more knowledge i am getting i am more aware of how stupid i am. I only know the most important things in life is health and family. And I am having fun travelling and experiencing new things everyday, so there is no routine in my life

putting up to the test: You guys haven´t answered about starting a "gameficated school" .. haha. I think the future of school will have to do with games and learning. I have been a teacher for 30 years , English teacher that is, one day I realized children here in Brazil started being half way into the English language just by playing video games freshy launched in the US to which they had no patience waiting for a portuguese version , so they downloaded them to engage in going through levels all in English. To me my job was/is 50% done! Then I started searching the internet for papers on the topic and found out a few showing how a gamefied schools can improve learning by 20% ahead of the ones who weren´t part of the experiments. I can see the trend is going up. Differently from what most teachers think , I think schools should be entrepreneural not statecized!

The first major change you list, hasn't happened for me, and more than likely won't happen(old adult who will inherit my parents house). Can't relate to #2. #3 ain't gonna happen either, I've chosen to forgo marriage, and family. My father has passed away, aside from that, nothing really has changed. I became independent at 12. At 12 a took all major decisions by myself. I lost my lost my dad at 12 and mom at 16. I have to go through high school and University by no body's support but by myself alone in one of the poorest country in the world (Sierra Leone). Now I'm a graduate with a BSc. in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, working at the biggest telecom company in our country. My mom and dad never went to school, so that prompt to do all the decision making on my career. And besides I lost both of them at early age.

Golden. I'm not certain where I am at life but I do know that the changes I've made through life have impacted my life trajectory greatly. Still, I cannot help but come away with the feeling like I still have yet to find my true self -- that person I was meant to be. I also feel deeply that the person I was meant to be is being held back somehow. It's not always about financial gain but instead personal development and growth -- that ability to make an impact in everything. I feel as though I am missing that level of fulfillment and I haven't quite figured out how to get it.
My journey, such as it is, does not feel anywhere near complete and I work each day to move that needle forward.

@7:20 This happened to me when I needed to go to Uni. My parents and teachers grew up in apartheid SA. They were not allowed to go to university so they studied at designated colleges where you could either become a teacher or a nurse so when it came to advising me about university they were very lacking, I had to go and find out for myself. It's very sad when you see your brilliant dad or your brilliant physics teacher do not have the answers because they don't know that there is such a thing as a BCom Marketing, BCom Info Systems or BCom Stats etc. and the lucrative careers that can follow those degrees so they give you very limited advice that can derail your career forever. 🙁

According to this list, I am between my father dying (10 years ago) and my daughter moving out (10 years from now). The real change I am encouraging, is changing my business model from short term rentals (I have 7) to long term rentals (I want 300 by the end of the year). While the cashflow is higher with AirBnb, the workload is as well and I am in this place where it has prevented me from growing. With long term rentals, I can buy apartments and hire people to manage them for me (With AirBnb in my market we can't find competent cleaning crews so we do it ourselves and that takes its toll). I can't grow if I am working IN my business, only if I am working ON my business...

At the same time, my father’s metaphorical death is something I’m processing, so I’m going through that change now, too. My father died when i was 18, I moved out abroad when i was 20, started first company at 22, a successful company when I was 25 and even better at age 33, managed to buy an apartment at age 32, my daughter was born when i was 33. I am planning to build a house and i still did not find myself even though i am doing this for years now. I only know the more knowledge i am getting i am more aware of how stupid i am.
I only know the most important things in life is health and family. And I am having fun travelling and experiencing new things everyday, so there is no routine in my life

putting up to the test: You guys haven´t answered about starting a "gameficated school" .. haha. I think the future of school will have to do with games and learning. I have been a teacher for 30 years , English teacher that is, one day I realized children here in Brazil started being half way into the English language just by playing video games freshy launched in the US to which they had no patience waiting for a portuguese version , so they downloaded them to engage in going through levels all in English. To me my job was/is 50% done! Then I started searching the internet for papers on the topic and found out a few showing how a gamefied schools can improve learning by 20% ahead of the ones who weren´t part of the experiments. I can see the trend is going up. Differently from what most teachers think , I think schools should be entrepreneural not statecized!

The first major change you list, hasn't happened for me, and more than likely won't happen(old adult who will inherit my parents house). Can't relate to #2. #3 ain't gonna happen either, I've chosen to forgo marriage, and family. My father has passed away, aside from that, nothing really has changed. The only changes are, I'm getting older, and fatter.

I became independent at 12. At 12 a took all major decisions by myself. I lost my lost my dad at 12 and mom at 16. I have to go through high school and University by no body's support but by myself alone in one of the poorest country in the world (Sierra Leone).
Now I'm a graduate with a BSc. in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, working at the biggest telecom company in our country.
My mom and dad never went to school, so that prompt to do all the decision making on my career. And besides I lost both of them at early age.
I am at peace in my life from heart break to Living my best to then falling on my face to now Completely at peace hope Everyone gets to find their peace
