- Huge addition to a local family farm. Farmer Chris and his family farm added a new 70,000 Bushel grain bin. a lot of that work will be on Farmer Chris's channel once he gets it uploaded. Our little part in this massive upgrade will be trenching in some utilities and doing my best to salvage some old culverts they are no longer using and want to save. hope you enjoy!
check out farmer Chris!

Big Grain bins Need Big Power - Trenching Electric and Salvaging Culverts
A HUGE👍 for not hitting that phone line, good job on that Captain Kleeman. And u did a wonderful job on the whole job 💯💯. Mr. DP ought to be proud of you, and give you a raise. $$$$
Hey be sure to let him know 😂
I love how all you guys are now using remote microphones. It makes such a difference, especially when you are away from the camera. Nice work Mike.
Thanks for the feedback!
I love the shots in the bucket at 18.56”. The new camera shots were cool.👏👏👏👏👏👍
Appreciate the feedback!
18:56
The noises always help, as long as they are out of the front end...not the back end!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤭🤭🤭
The bucket on that 304 wiggles like a broken deer leg.
Is it floppy or is it variable tilt 😂
Cap’n I liked the new camera angles…. Being inside the bucket and down in the trench give me a worms eye view of the world… without getting dirty. Oh wait… worm eyes are about as common as hens teeth. Well, surely you get the picture?
We had a 5000 bushel grain bin on our dairy farm. At 13 I thought it was humongous. When it got below waist high in beans or corn we were allowed to play in it. It was there that I discovered one of life’s mysteries.
To this day I cannot understand or explain that (Vortex? Black hole? Other dimension?) place where socks disappear to. But, I do know that in a grain bin, it is doubly wicked. You see, it isn’t half as pair that disappear there. Grain bins make the whole pair vanish!
If they ever reappeared I never knew it… because the tee shirt that plugged up my dad’s auger caused quite a rash to appear on my behind… but, as to socks… I never heard or felt a hint of their reappearance!!!
Cap’n, that was a gorgeous curvy trench…. Thanks for sharing your excavation porn this morning!
Appreciate the effort you make on keeping the channel fresh. It’s working. 🏴
Thanks for the feedback!
I love your camera angles! The view as your exposing the phone line was great! Good video, very informative.
Appreciate the feedback and thanks for watching!
Good video. Here's a consideration; a 8' or 10' three or four inch steel pipe + a bullet-shaped cap welded on one end = a handy boring tool. Dig to within a foot or two of your cable or water line on each side and throw the pipe down in the open flat trench. Hook the open end with a bucket tooth and push or pull the bullet end through to the other side. Leaves a nice little hole for small water lines or cable to pass through the bore hole you just made at the bottom of the trench. Works pretty slick and will save you a ton of spade work. :)
I don’t think you need to change anything now, maybe sometime in the future but your content is always interesting. Always keen to see the next instalment.
Appreciate the feedback!
I'm glad to see that you're wearing gloves today. Back when I was your age, I didn't wear gloves much. As I got older, I started to have problems with my hands.
I like your great attitude towards everything that you do. We don't see frustrations, just ways to get things done. It all adds up to great content. Keep up the great work.
Appreciate the feedback and thanks for watching!
Nice job Captain, they always take a short cut with running wires. Never 90* turns😂 Nice to dig in top soil👍🇺🇸
After working for the electric company for 40 years, I have seen my share of electrical explosions due to faults like you saw. I have also been in some, not fun at all.
Nothing better then waking up to dirt perfect , the Brady bunch oh yea captain kleeman lol. Excellent video everything is in the filming is also excellent keep it up.
I was in the neighborhood and thought I would stop by and say Hi. Just a lovely channel I think. More people in the world like Cap't here and we would be in better shape.
Thanks for the kind words!
Thank you for your service as a Fire Fighter, keep up on your great vedieo's
Thanks for watching!
Oh my, Mike and his wiggle buckets😜🤣
Another job well done
Thank you!
I agree. The noises help.....especially when you get older. 😂
😂😂
Im digging the creativity, its booming!!! Awesome variety of camera angles, could use bit more music😁, the voice overs are informative, and you have great sense of humor!!! Keep creating brother!!💪🏼💪🏼💯💯💯🙌🏼💚⚡♾
Thank you!
First off let me say that I fully enjoy all your video's glitches or not ! Now as to the vibration of the view on camera I like it it to some degree for it shows to me the ride your going through in the cab . It adds to the realism of the experience of the operator of the equipment ! Thank you again for all your video's !!!!!! Keith.
Thanks Keith!
cameras "in/on" the bucket and camera in the trench were nice touches -- helps the viewers who aren't used to running equipment get a more realistic view (in my opinion) -- nice work, thanks for the vids
Appreciate the feedback!
You do a pretty nice job handling that skid steer youngster. I also like the work ethic, most guys wouldn’t take the time to get off the machine to do anything by hand, I like that sir.keep up the good work.
Thank you sir!
I so enjoy your videos, you a breath of fresh air!
Thank you!
Hi Hi Captain good morning to you and family from Jamaica 🇯🇲🇯🇲🙏💯. Let's go have some fun
Thanks Lloyd!
No complaints from me Captain.
I'd say ya did some spiffy work there and Farmer Chris is on smart cookie with a very intelligent look to the future.
I'll continue watching your misadventures (😅😂🤣🙄).
Hey thanks for the support!
@@CaptainKleeman.
Next year should see some really great projects finished and started by You, Mike and Chris.
Your subs will be waiting and I'm sure you'll turn a hundred K subs by the end of 2022 or sooner.
That plaque will look good hanging in your man cave if you have one.
I love the swing boom on my 301.7dcr makes digging around this so much easier!
Definitely
YES the noises DO help! Single/Double = Pay me NOW, Pay me LATER! Nice job - quite the 'skid steer' operator too! Those grain #'s blew my mind as well, man! VERY slight camera wobble but not anything that affected the video presentation. Good job, buddy! Take care and HUG the family! Sonny (CHRIS is a hard worker!)
Appreciate the feedback and thanks for watching!
Cool video, I especially liked the drone shots. Farmer Chris has a great channel too. I enjoy the content.
Yeah he does!
Thanks for sharing 👍, I don't mind the time-lapse some you tubers blast the music that's not necessary. I've noticed the improvements in your videos.
👍 good job.
Appreciate the feedback!
Camera angles were great. I like how you throw in references like how many attempts at an intro and the work it takes to make good videos. Great job as always. God Bless...
Thanks for watching!
Hey Mike you may want to install shock absorbers on your new camera mounts lol
The camera angles and editing are two of the strengths of your channel, Captain, keep up the good work. I do feel constrained to add that apparently the phone company in your area doesn't follow the 6/15rule in placing lines. (The line is only 6 inches underground, and 15 feet from where they marked it!😁) Yep, I've cut a couple on the ranch, but didn't have to pay for any, and they only argued on one of them.
😂😂 they are pretty good at locating for us.
always a great effort in your vids and work we like that. thanks for the enjoyment. cheers captain.
Appreciate the feedback!
Congratulations on missing the phone line. 😅😅 love the videos, keep them coming.
Thanks Jeff!
I always enjoy your videos ! Have fallen down on hitting the like button due to watching your channel on the smart TV. Will try to do better. Really like your background music and am looking forward to to seeing the goats arrive. Great job as always.
Hey definitely appreciate all the support!
i'm not picky on camrea mounts just glad to be on the ride lol hang on
Thanks for watching!
@@CaptainKleeman your welcome keep up good work i'd rather watch this kind of stuff than negative crap on regualer tv anyway you doing awsome!
The buried cable should have burial tape over it to warn excavators that it is below about 12 inches over wire. 18 inches below top soil.
That doesn't apply to phone lines here. Only power lines
Nice job and I too really enjoyed all the camera angels
Thank you sir!
Great job Captin you didn’t brake anything of farmer chris
Shake, Rattle And Roll!
As usual interesting project and work well done. Like Farmer Criss' adventures also
Thanks
Nice work my friend.
Thank you!
those centrifugal fans are loud, but man you talk about moving some air. Glad he went with a Brock Bin. The Sukup stirring systems are Junk in my opinion. helped my father in law work on more than a few. he is 78 years old and has been working on grain systems since he was 16. except for a deployment to Vietnam in the 70's.
Looks good on the filming and sound. Keep the videos coming
Thanks Chuck!
Great video, enjoyed it !
Thank you Andy!
Hi Mike, Go Pros have stabilization so I do not see why there is movement. Maybe it is the mount. At any rate, it did not make much difference. Was the connector for the two sticks of pipe not salvageable? Good job on saving them. Have you ever thought of getting a 360-degree camera? Go Pro is having a sale now. 70,000 bushels is a lot but with all of the land that Farmer Chris has, he needs a very large bin for storage. Have good days!
A 360 camera would be cool for the trucking for sure.
The Kubota tracks looked like you held a barn dance where you capped and graded the ditch. Good Work Capt!!!!
I'm missing where you reference other sites, such as Farmer Chris. Oops, I just found it.... Us old dogs are just slower than you young pups.
Glad ya found it!
Have a great day, from the wet coast. :)
You as well!
yes capt your all good in the camra angles and sound cheers
Appreciate the feedback!
You left this a nice clean job site!
Hey thanks!
Mike, you do really nice work. I am always excited when you post a video on your channel to see what’s happening. God bless you and your family. The camera shaking wasn’t too bad and honestly on a tracked vehicle like you are running, I can’t imagine how you avoid a shaking camera but I sm no tech guy on camera’s or editing. Love the channel
Appreciate the feedback!
Glad to see Farmer Chris’ grain bin is up and being filled.
Getting 3 phase power brought it when it’s not already at the road would be pricey but best in the long run especially with Sunrise Farms 10 year plan.
Definitely worth it in the long run. Thanks for watching Wayne!
Love the sound effects 😂
😂
Sounds like Chris has a good plan together! Drives me nuts having to go back 3 or 4 steps to go foreward.
Yeah exactly!
Did you see where Larsons have a plan laid out? It’s pretty cool. H
ChetIt Has this thing figured out and then Farm probably five or 6000 acres In Minnesota I believe Larsen farms
I love the videos just the way you do them...... keep doing what you do,,, I'll keep watching!
Thanks for watching!
Hi I'm very happy with your videos and the sound is good keep up the good work and looking forward to see more.
Thanks for watching and appreciate the feedback!
Great video, yes lots of shovel time on underground utilities, you got it done an everyone very happy. That's what makes our day loving what we do. Been in your shoes an love what l do too.
Thanks for watching!
I Do Not Care For A Tinted Cab Either, But When That June Sun is Beating OnYou Through the Windows, I Often Have Wished Mine Were Tinted. Catch You On The Next One, Keep It Safe Out There!
I hear ya there. They definitely turn into ovens
Keep up the absolutely awesome work and keep talking it’s very informational, take care stay safe and warm god bless.
Thank you sir!
Great vid, as usual! I started watching a few farming channels this year (including Larson Farms) and man these grain bin systems are crazy. Very cool that you were park of getting this one up and going!
Thank for watching!
Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and videos. Wishing you and your family the best and a Merry Christmas.
You as well Tom!
Captain great video, thanks for sharing! Kevin
Thanks for watching Kevin!
Hello Mike .
the light shaking of the camera is not irritating though and it also immediately informs the viewer of the video that the machine vibrates while working, as you see a little later in the cabin at the side windows a so.
there are people unfamiliar with such machines who think it drives like a car .
but when you're in it it sometimes looks more like a fairground attraction it hops and shakes so this image shows that nicely.
I think it fits well myself.
and it shouldn't be a Discovery channel production either! .
you let us watch your daily work and life .
it's not a real-life soap professionally captured for TV by a camera crew.
it must remain "homemade" otherwise it is no longer credible.
keep it up i love watching your videos .
thanks for the video Captain Kleeman .
Sincerely Hollandduck from the Netherlands
Awesome feedback and thanks for watching!
Enjoy your videos. You are a very good driver 👍
Thanks!
waiting for farmer Chris's vids.. last one i seen was soy bean harvesting. you do great vids mate.. will watch them as they are posted..
Thanks for watching
Famer Chris seems to definitely have his stuff together......Thank God for our Farmers.......and Second Responders 😉
Yes he does!
Awesome video, I like to here of farmers progressing and growing. Your content is great weather your working for DP or working around home stead
It's definitely an awesome thing to see
Another satisfied customer !! Chris was certainly right to remove the pipes, you may be back to install them somewhere for him !! Trench work was interesting to watch, swing boom showed up well, good to see you left plenty of room around the trench, have worked with operators who didn't do that.... 😬😬
Mics worked well, all were clear and good quality, one of the camera mounts around the eighteen minute mark was shaking quite a bit, but the go pro won the dodgy picture competition hands down !!! 🤣🤣🤣
Ps. Happy belated birthday Mike !! 🎂🎂🎂
Thanks for the birthday wishes!
Enjoyed this video Captain
Thank you Doug!
Thanks for sharing Mike 👍 Looking and sounding good 👍
Thanks for the feedback!
The new mounts really do shake a lot…
Wow! You had some really nice world to work with their Mike! Nice use of the swing boom on the mini. Not enough people use it and I for one think it’s the best feature Of owning one.
Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. Take care 👍🏻
Mike and I have a friend that owns another excavation company, he always says on excavators it's the bucket that makes the money, not the tracks. Swing boom definitely keeps me from having to move as much. Thanks for watching!!!
Another beaut of a video captain 💪
Thank you!
Looks and sounds good captain kleman
Thank you sir!
Looked good to me Cpt. Maybe just a very slightly small minor tad bit of a shake. O wait, that's me I'm old. Never mind it's good !!!! 👍👍👍👍😁
Thanks for watching Mark!
Single wall...It's good for tree trunk guards, and that's aboot it
Definitely agree
Love bladecam!! 👍👌👀
Appreciate the feedback!
love the new angles and shots that's what me thing that makes your channel so great! Really like the one with it in the skid steer bucket when back dragging! Keep up the great work!
Thanks Jack!
a Farmer Chris appearance
You got to have the sounds, or it’s just a job!😉
Love your channel and have a little Christmas wish for you... outtakes in the end of a video would be so awesome... I have seen it on CEE Australia channel and it is fun... you tried to say god morning 5 times in this video would love to se the 4 attempts that didn’t worked out... special for your channel is I like the way you talk to the viewers...like we are whit you on your mission... and your creativity on camera Angeles... keep up the good work...
Out takes would be fun!
Really like the music on this one. Good vlog
The main thing I'd like to point up are occasional differences in audio levels between the "live action" and the voice over portions. Never anything major, just enough to need a riding of my speaker volume at times.
Thanks for the feedback!
I like the format of your videos. No fancy music when playing appropriate parts in fast forward. Taste differs but I can find the added music on some other channels rather annoying at times
Appreciate the feedback!
Nice job finding and exposing that phone line, even with it marked out. That’s tough even with a shovel if you don’t take your time.
Hey thanks!
You did a great job there digging the ditch and pulling the pipe out. That thin wall pipe is worthless.Great video...
Thanks Thomas!
I might be wrong but I think 🤔 Farmer Chris’s bin is bigger than the ones on Welker Farms. They have more of them but not this big I don’t think.
Not sure, it's a good size though
it looks like dirt perfect needs to fix tht bucket on the 304.
Pretty low on the list. Thanks for watching!
Have you ever tried to talk to whoever goes the cc for You Tube? They seem to have trouble with your name (among other words). I've seen Clean Man, Cleveland, Cliton (like the President), even Klingon!😂 One of their favorites is 'grade', it always comes out grate!
🤣🤣🤣
Nice episode! A lot to get done to prep for a new bin! Thanks for sharing!
good job.
Thank you!
Great job and vedio ❤️👍
Thank you!
Hi Mike
There was quite a bit of noise from one of the camera mounts.
Shame the go pro messed up.
Enjoyed the video.
Thanks for sharing.
Michael (from Scotland)
You are a man of many talents,I think dirt perfect could not get along with out you and he knows it.he will never admit it though, great job, enjoy your videos just keep doing what your doing and carry on 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Hey it goes both directions for us. Thanks for watching!
I'd hire you because you are conscientious and you will get out of the seat and run a shovel . Good job.
Thank you sir!
I would think that anything on machinery should include a gimble setup.
Happy trip around the sun day captain. Hope the sweet family been good to ya bud. Fancy digging 👌
Thanks Andy!
Sounds like they have a good plan
Best way to do things think ahead to make future projects easier
Good video Mike👍
Agree 100%
