What a great perfumer to interview--she's smart, funny, generous, informative and articulate about her ideas behind her fragrances, and charmingly (and lightly) self-deprecating.

I tried that one out in-store and liked it a lot. I was ready to purchase it when the salesperson let me try Meander on my skin. I wound up walking out with that one instead. Etruscan Water will be my next purchase when I go back to that shop.

I love Francesca Bianchi’s scents and have them all. I agree about the DNA in all her perfumes. I discovered her. perfumes years ago when she when I was intrigued with Sex and the Sea.

Just received my sample of Luxe Calme Volupte a little while ago! Very bitter in the beginning, but that is dissipating now. It's getting sweeter, and I am just going along for the ride. Too soon to tell. I think I need to spray more. Let me do that. I'll be back. Lisa
P.S. Yes, that's what it needed! Now I'm getting the orange and less bitterness from the galbanum. It's starting to smell yummy!

I just ordered two more of her fragrances this week. They are great and so complex - niche fan dream. But she needs to find a retailer in UK now we have to pay import duty thanks to Brexit.
I love Francesca Bianchi fragrances. I have six atm and am considering two more. I tried the newest and it wasn’t my thing, I will of course revisit it later. Just wanted to mention something about The Lover’s Tale...sometimes when I wear it, it’s a beautiful leather and jasmine, but most of the time it is just too much for me (in an animalic way...and I love animalic scents) and I have to wash it off...it’s extremely potent too...I’ve never moved past the sample on that one...quite challenging most of the time, but when it wears well it’s gorgeous.
Love her so much!!! I only have 4 from her line but i actually love and want all of them!

I’m dying to find one of my favorite fragrances that has been discontinued and Tyger Tyger sounds like it might be close, the Fragrance is by Slumber house Kiste I was wondering Sebastian if you can help me would you be familiar with Kiste? And does tyger tyger resemble it I know you’re not big on the boozy fragrances and that’s exactly what this is
