Replace Silverado Turn Signal Bulb Socket

How I replaced the turn signal bulb socket in my 1999 Silverado 1500.

Is your side marker bulb out? It should blink with your turn signal light

My wires touched while the truck was on 😬🤦🏽I checked fuse but it’s good .do I just have to replace the socket?

What if the replacement socket has 3 wires and the original has 2

I would say it's the wrong part. I had a hard time finding the exact socket until I went to rockauto.com

How did you know which wire went to what ? For example your replacement has all white wires.

I had both connectors side by side and connected the right wires, center wires and left wires.
