I bought this fragrance because people say it’s different. From my personal experience it’s starts off with strong black pepper notes with a sweet rose mixed in. Tbh It’s really strong pepper smell at first which I’m sensitive to. But once the dry down kick in it’s a perfect mix of pepper rose and some nutty sub notes. Definitely different I’m a fan of it my wife loves it
Yup and I love how different it smells and glad o blind bought the last 1oz. bottle from Ross. Was thinking of getting the 3.4 bottle for about $35. but I suspect it was fake bc how could the 3.4 and 1.0 bottle be the same price. I didn’t think I was going to be a rose more fan, but this rose smell is super complex and not the cheap air freshener rose smell.

Moschino' Toy Boy definitely is my new fave! I haven't smelled anything this special in the last couple of years. I think it's a very modern scent, that expresses masculinity through courage. Also, it instinctively reminded me of a one of the greatest TV commercials of the past couple of years. Toy Boy summarizes our internal desire to bloom youthfully, as MEN!

Tried this at Macy's Tuesday evening and ended up LOVING IT! I didn't know about it at first but I kept getting whiffs of it throughout the night and was like damn somebody smells good. It was me! The has insane longevity. I could still smell it on my arm the next morning. It's still on my denim jacket I was wearing Tuesday. This smells so modern and cool. Kinda like a men's version of a women's perfume if that makes sense. Love the packaging. Love everything about it.
My husband who is Middle Eastern loves rose based fragrances and is comfortable wearing florals. I thought it was odd at first, but it’s common in his culture. Oud, rose, Amber etc and other florals that may be considered feminine.
This fragrance is so good..I blind brought this based off the bottle, thought it was unique and corky to add to the collection..little did I realise the juice inside was gonna be so good!...first day I wore it ,I got so many complaints compliments...ladies love this scent and it last so long...Steven describes this perfectly , another spot on, great review...

Definitely an interesting scent! When I tried this out the lady was telling me how lots of women had purchased this , and I had to agree, its definitely unisex. Quite addictive, I found myself inhaling the tester strip over and over!

Not too sweet, not too spicy, not too floral, just a really unique and lovely green & creamy rose vibe to it. I sprayed this awhile ago…. With paco rabanne Invictus, spicebomb and eros… so i bought the Invictus… when this toyboy stayed more in my skin, it becomes more and more smelling good and appealing…now il return tomorro to buy this

If I would have seen this video before I made the purchase bacause of what you said about the rose note opening however, I am glad I made the purchase because in my opinion, this fragance wowed me for sure. This Is exactly what l was looking for Unique elegant and collections Bottle.I sprayed 2 shots this morning at 11am and l am still rocking it.The opening is a little strong but then the battle.between the pear and the roses starts to Settle and puts you in a nice spring mood Inside a beautiful garden.

Truthfully I have been trying to get the right rose dominant fragrance. I am confident and I like to stand out. It sounds like the perfect scent for me. I’m all about the compliments truthfully. I love to dress and I get compliments from almost everyone I think it will match my personality perfect off to get my nose on this

SO glad you did this one and that it's at Macy's - gotta gift cert to spend there, and I'm already mulling the new Hermes and this summer's CK One. I'm most interested by frags that, in your description, buck the current trend of "blue," "ozonic," "aquatic," etc. I absolutely cannot tolerate that genre. I have two questions - how often do you blind buy? And - as you are no doubt aware a lot of perfumistas reject the notion of gender in fragrance. I understand and respect that but don't agree. Similarly, the idea that some fragrances are "young" and some are "old" is also something debatable. Do you think that labeling some frags "classy" or for "older guys" might be old hat? The kitschy bottle drew me in completely (I'm a GM, early 50's, super casual office worker). To me this one seems marketed to a younger crowd. Just some thoughts. Thanks as always!

I saw this in Dillard's a few weeks ago and I didn't even smell it because I turned off by the bottle. But the juice inside being so good made me change my mind. I think it looks great.

I bought this because the bottle is cool and I wanted to challenge myself with a rose fragrance..and I love it actually...and I've also started layering it with bvlgari man extreme which adds a little zesty freshness to the rose and "mans it up" a bit.....really like it together..do you ever layer stuff?

Unfortunately the website i bought it from ships only local (israel) its such a shame that designers perfumes is expensive in the US. @@Redolessence I've been trying it out for a few days now, I do think the opening is a little unisex, but not overly feminine. What I really like about it though is the mid to drydown scent this one has, it gets a bit muskier which rounds the scent out to be a bit more masculine and clean. About 5-8 hours in to wearing it, the floral scent is still there, but it sweetens out to kind of remind me of 1 million, but better.
I saw this at Macy's today and was curious about it. The woman behind the counter said it isn't popular and most people don't like it. I am so glad I didn't listen to her and I smelled it for myself. Needless to say, my bottle will be delivered in 2 days. The projection and longevity is BEAST! I sprayed it on my skin 4 hours ago and I'm still getting whiffs of it.

I almost bought this a couple weeks ago, but it was between this and YSL Y EDP and I went with the latter. Definitely plan on picking it up another time. Gotta love Moschino’s packaging. I know some of their women’s fragrances are in bottles shaped like cleaning products.
I find it weird that people always mention rose with this. Yes, they used a rose note and you can smell it if you sniff it close enough but it doesn't resemble a rose smell at all. It smells like a very dark alcoholic cherry and a very synthetic one on top.
I tried this at Macy's last week and loved it. From what I remember, similar to Amouroud Mysterious Rose. I've sampled both and felt that confidence you mention. Thanks for the review...
Today I tried it, loved it, bought it right away and received a compliment half an hour later. During a blood test, the nurse said "I don't know what you are wearing but that smells amazing!". Really, really good release, absolutely unique and high quality for a great price.
I may have to purchase....i make blind buys all the time. I read the note break down and thats how i determine if i want to purchase and so far I've been satisfied with my purchases.

I tried it today in the local mall. It reminds me of Diesel Bad.I don't get the rose note at all. It's agressive dark thick smelling perfume with some fresshness on the background. More cold season than spring or summer. Lasts forever. Won't be a crowd pleaser. Age group between 20-35. Definitelly not a gentlemen mature man type of fragrance. It's 11pm 10 hours after I sprayed still on my skin and smells exactly like John Varvatos Artisan Pure
I don't think it smells like Pure. And I don't really think it's THAT dark. I get rose and flowers full force I would agree that it's aggressive though. You got that part right. I know fragrances react differently on people's skin. Interesting take indeed.

I’m loving toy boy. I bought it to wear in casual situations but it will also work well with a suit and tie.

SO glad you did this one and that it's at Macy's - gotta gift cert to spend there, and I'm already mulling the new Hermes and this summer's CK One. I'm most interested by frags that, in your description, buck the current trend of "blue," "ozonic," "aquatic," etc. I absolutely cannot tolerate that genre. I have two questions - how often do you blind buy? And - as you are no doubt aware a lot of perfumistas reject the notion of gender in fragrance. I understand and respect that but don't agree. Similarly, the idea that some fragrances are "young" and some are "old" is also something debatable. Do you think that labeling some frags "classy" or for "older guys" might be old hat? The kitschy bottle drew me in completely (I'm a GM, early 50's, super casual office worker). To me this one seems marketed to a younger crowd. Just some thoughts. Thanks as always!

I saw this in Dillard's a few weeks ago and I didn't even smell it because I turned off by the bottle. But the juice inside being so good made me change my mind. I think it looks great.

I bought this because the bottle is cool and I wanted to challenge myself with a rose fragrance..and I love it actually...and I've also started layering it with bvlgari man extreme which adds a little zesty freshness to the rose and "mans it up" a bit.....really like it together..do you ever layer stuff?

Unfortunately the website i bought it from ships only local (israel) its such a shame that designers perfumes is expensive in the US.
BTW, I purchase mostly from fragrancex although they are not the most cheapest vendor but the only one who ships to Israel.

Best rose ever is still Rose D’Arabie by Armani but this one is a real different take on rose, way more like juicy pear.
I just picked mine up for around $50 from a discounter online, it should be showing up in the mail today or tomorrow, looking forward to this scent for sure.

@@Redolessence I've been trying it out for a few days now, I do think the opening is a little unisex, but not overly feminine. What I really like about it though is the mid to drydown scent this one has, it gets a bit muskier which rounds the scent out to be a bit more masculine and clean. About 5-8 hours in to wearing it, the floral scent is still there, but it sweetens out to kind of remind me of 1 million, but better.

I saw this at Macy's today and was curious about it. The woman behind the counter said it isn't popular and most people don't like it. I am so glad I didn't listen to her and I smelled it for myself. Needless to say, my bottle will be delivered in 2 days. The projection and longevity is BEAST! I sprayed it on my skin 4 hours ago and I'm still getting whiffs of it.

I got a sample of this from Macys a few weeks ago. It is now my favorite fragrance. I ended up purchasing the gift box with the body wash and travel size bottle. Definitely different and fresh!

I almost bought this a couple weeks ago, but it was between this and YSL Y EDP and I went with the latter. Definitely plan on picking it up another time. Gotta love Moschino’s packaging. I know some of their women’s fragrances are in bottles shaped like cleaning products.

I find it weird that people always mention rose with this. Yes, they used a rose note and you can smell it if you sniff it close enough but it doesn't resemble a rose smell at all. It smells like a very dark alcoholic cherry and a very synthetic one on top.

Today I tried it, loved it, bought it right away and received a compliment half an hour later. During a blood test, the nurse said "I don't know what you are wearing but that smells amazing!". Really, really good release, absolutely unique and high quality for a great price.
I may have to purchase....i make blind buys all the time. I read the note break down and thats how i determine if i want to purchase and so far I've been satisfied with my purchases.

Hi Steven. Is toy boy moschino is it of high quality notes in terms of its uniqueness. The bottle is like honey bottle. I love rose 🌹 scents. Do you see gentleman or CEO wearing this fragrance. Also what is your view on Prada L'Homme L'eau and L'Homme Intense. Those two I'm thinking of getting. Tell me what you think?

I tried it today in the local mall. It reminds me of Diesel Bad.I don't get the rose note at all. It's agressive dark thick smelling perfume with some fresshness on the background. More cold season than spring or summer. Lasts forever. Won't be a crowd pleaser. Age group between 20-35. Definitelly not a gentlemen mature man type of fragrance. It's 11pm 10 hours after I sprayed still on my skin and smells exactly like John Varvatos Artisan Pure

I don't think it smells like Pure. And I don't really think it's THAT dark. I get rose and flowers full force I would agree that it's aggressive though. You got that part right. I know fragrances react differently on people's skin. Interesting take indeed.
