(2023) I just rediscovered this song and cried my eyes out the second the first notes played… I was in a show as a child that used this song as the backing track, fell in love with it & listened to it on repeat throughout most of my child and teen years. I even listened to it in the car on my iPod back when they were still relevant, while sitting outside my great uncle’s nursing home after saying goodbye for the last time. Words cannot describe what hearing this tune has brought back for me; I feel like I just healed something in me! xx
@@AngstAnticsPro But when you're listening to just the music, the steps shouldn't be there. most of the other pieces for riverdance are available with just the music only. but not this one

Riverdance makes this song magical and amazing to watch I always love listening to it and in the end I'm up and dancing so beautiful.
Bill has done a awsome job with this new recording of the show celebrating 25 years.
After a lot of years ago, I have discovered which was the song from a CD what I have. I recognised it at the moment!
This is the 25 anniversary recording of the show featuring all the original Riverdance music, sounds so fresh.
Maravillosa música...

Would have loved to hear the full length version of this without the sound of the dancing.
The dancing is part of the percussion, that's a bit like asking for a version of a Metallica album without the sound of the drumming.
@@sarahwalsh2538 no, the music was composed without the sound of the dancing. some of the pieces are available without that sound
@@neomp5 the whole idea behind riverdance (and irish dance in general) is to showcase the steps as part of the music.

@@sarahwalsh2538 Yup, no Metallica without the Lars Factor. lol
