Thank you for the video. I did my first character dining at DLP, character breakfast at Plaza Gardens and I absolutely loved it. It was so much fun, even as a solo traveller (and an adult). I also have it booked for my next trip, on my birthday and the Royal Banquet as well. Very excited to see and experience that one!

Haha love the story of you offering to help kill Snow White! I love character dining but don't think it works so well as a buffet. As a solo traveller I found Plaza Gardens breakfast so stressful, trying to grab food and get back to my table without missing characters. Two of the characters ended up missing me which was a shame. Much preferred Auberge where I could just sit, relax, and let both the food and the characters come to me. Super excited to stay at the DLH next year and try Table de Lumiere!
I have no idea what came over me when I met the Evil Queen! Haha! It is true that buffets are definitely more tricky to navigate as a solo traveller! I always try and leave a hand sanitizer or something that I can leave behind on the table to let them know I am coming back! It is difficult to time the buffet with characters too! I try and keep an eye out as they seem to work in sections and pop up to the buffet if they are in a different area, although in some character dining meals I have seen all the characters in different sections so that complicates things! I hope you have an amazing time at the DLH and at La Table de Lumiere!
Do you know if I can change a course in the kids menu for a vegan option from the adult menu? At Walt's kids get a grilled veggie sandwich with Kiri cheese. Can I ask for the coleslaw for example? thank you in advance! We go next week 😀

I don't have kids so don't have personal experience with this but I have heard that they may swap to a smaller version of the adult option as they don't have vegan options on the kids menus, which is great news! This may be down to the individual restaurant / server at the time. I hope you get super accommodating cast members and you have a great trip!
