Rossi is the man! The GP is full of badass riders, but i admire Rossi the most for this reason.... I am the same age he is and i cant ride like i used to. I have lost my nerve and will to push the limits of a bike waging my life.. So, hats off to Rossi he is a true pro! This game looks amazing! Thanks for sharing and letting us see it! I will be purchasing on the 7th like everybody else. Thank goodness! A proper bike game has arrived! I can rightfully retire my sidecar! Lol
Robo, i remember Rossi and Biaggi battles! Goodness, they just made the hair on ur arms stand up! Up and coming Rossi knocking off the old pro, lil by lil or by storm i guess pending how one wants to view it. But in those days sometimes a race would be so close and the guys would battle so hard, that when the race was over a guy sometimes could feel that he still had something left to prove. Lol... Remember when i think it waz after a race and they were getting ready for interviews, and i think it was Biaggi got in the room obviously way early and was waiting on Rossi to have words alone... Of course it turned into a lil more, and when the media entered the room Biaggi told them he had a mosquito bite, or that may of been Rossi its been a while please forgive me, but they got in a fight after the race before the media show! So, Rossi kicked his ass twice in one day! Once on the track, then once after! Then they became friends.... But those were the days.... it seemed bikes were gaining 100hp a year in the early 2000's. Every year was huge breakthru! And rossi was in his prime!

You actually sound a bit like Bradley Smith lol Cool that Rossi does his 'ritual' - I wonder if they all do, (Marquez trademark stretches on the bike, Iannone sitting up and making the cross shape etc.) The last MotoGP game I got was 13 on the ps3. Tried the demo for 14 and didn't like it as much and haven't bothered since; but will be getting this now it's switched to the Unreal Engine.
Helmet camera movements seems to be well done and fun, but in my opinion looks too much dark. Even darker when pilot is back to vertical position and he must look through the cockpit glass. Not happy with 30 FPS for Xbox One X. Thanks for your video, ROBO46!

girlracerTracey it’s more likely to tuck more frequently, you can still get away with a bit but not as much as before, I tucked the front quite a few times when pushing (normally would get away with it in GP17) the dodgey rear has been fixed, tested out Brno and the rear doesn’t stupidly step out on certain corners like before. Loving the manual clutch, jump the start and it’s a ride through penalty for you!!
Thanks Robo. I guess quite a lot of the realism in this will be depend upon the accuracy of the tyre wear/tyre grip modelling also? On worn tyres, if Milestone have modelled this more accurately, the tendency to "tuck" will be enhanced and will be greater.. Thanks Robo that's interesting feedback. ;)
Hi, i need to ask you a few questions. 1. Does MotoGP 18 has the same physics than Moto GP 13? That's the last game that i played and i remember it was so irreal on driving. 2. I know MotoGP 18 is newest, but what would you recommend: Ride 2 or Moto GP 18? 3. MotoGP 13 allows players to edit all buttons in PS3 controller, can i do the same in PS4 with Ride 2 and GP18? 4. During races, does tires wear out in any or both games? As a videogame Ride 2 look quiet complete (you buy your own motorcycles, upgrade them, have tons of superbikes) and in the other hand MotoGP have (or use to have) 2 or 3 good motorcycles. milestone is going from zero to hero real quick! the switch to unreal 4 made so much sense for all of their games ( monster energy/mxgp3 in particular) they really can build on this success and are the best bike game developer currently by far cant wait to see ride 3 with unreal 4 and without the technical problems
Spot on review! 100% accurate! as always.... The game has been tweaked just a bit. Not a huge difference, but tweaked in the right direction! Handling, braking a bit better. And the graphics are a bit better also. (Which to me the graphics on all bike games are outstanding, because im an old chap, i remember "excite bike" on nintendo.) But i just played a race in the rain, and its a bit better graphics. It looked pretty dang real! I guess i could see how these young gamers have trouble seperating reality from game. Lol.... Back in my day we didnt have that problem. When you played excite bike, you knew you were playing a video game. Lol

Fredd Grace yeah you can use the clutch any time, but with the GP bikes you only really need to use it at the start as that’s the only time they use it in real life, I was going to put a crew 2 video up but got distracted by this 😂

What about that: helmet camera could have an option: view should lean together with the bike cornering, then you would have to lean your head sideways according to each corner. Try that and the immersion level would be huge.
Sounds good. In this video helmet cam did look into the corners but was a bit dark. Remember a game called "Shift" when the view auto looked into corners? That was a great feature.

Yeah really hope they add this in the next patches (maybe day-one-patch) - it shouldn´t be that hard to make this possible because the 3d-model is already in game (M1 of Rossi has aero, Jack´s Ducati has it....)
It looks like for the first time (with non modded physics) MotoGP bikes feels more realistic in terms of leaning and acceleration. It is more important to gear up eg. from 2nd to 3rd in chicane as they do in real life.. nice

Do the curbs still feel weird and send you off in the air? Or is that problem fixed? Because in gp 17 the curbs are like ramps lol

Connor Milliken sadly no flag to flag races, I believe you can choose aero for your custom rider, but I haven’t got that far yet

Crevarski maybe it looks even better because i think it runs at native 4k resolution compared to the ps4 pro's upscaling from 1440p. Time will tell
