I have Interacted with Sikh and Christian community and even studied with them in Schools and colleges . If you see there on Google or vlogs on YT there are massive Cathedrals in Pakistan . I can vouch for most Christians and Sikhs as they are extremely happy community in my region of Pakistan . Never heard them Complaining about Pakistan Rather Sikhs and Christians are quite contented . Nor should they be granted citizenship but they should be compensated with housing, job, in healthcare, academics, and monetary compensation, further the citizenship of the POK should also be pondered upon, the citizenship of the Afghans in Pakistan or the Afghans in Pakistan should be given some ID, to lead a life with recognition for all the services. It's said, until mid 2000s ID cards weren't a big deal in Pakistan. Once this has been rolled out it has become an issue. And sometimes cards aren't renewed. Those particularly affected are Bengalis, and pashtuns from the border regions. Unfortunately the way most countries are going with correct I'd you aren't a human being. Same thing in Bangladesh. We have a lot of non-citizen Pakistanis. Well actually they are called Bihari they are Muslims who fled bihar and came to the closest part of pakistan(which was east Pakistan) after partition. Many of them speak urdu and bengali and have assimilated into Bangladesh while many(mostly older people) see themselves as Pakistanis and want to move to Pakistan.

The Bengalis who want to go and live in bangladesh should be accepted in bangladesh and the Biharis who want to come to Pakistan must be welcomed by our government. We literally USED the Biharis in the war and then threw them away saying that they are Bangladesh's headache now. Shame!

I have Interacted with Sikh and Christian community and even studied with them in Schools and colleges . If you see there on Google or vlogs on YT there are massive Cathedrals in Pakistan . I can vouch for most Christians and Sikhs as they are extremely happy community in my region of Pakistan . Never heard them Complaining about Pakistan

Nor should they be granted citizenship but they should be compensated with housing, job, in healthcare, academics, and monetary compensation, further the citizenship of the POK should also be pondered upon, the citizenship of the Afghans in Pakistan or the Afghans in Pakistan should be given some ID, to lead a life with recognition for all the services. Pakistan should do actual census after overcoming these 'state negligence'.

An Afghan can be seen as a far bigger threat to Pakistan than a Bengali especially now with what's happening in Afghanistan. Bangladesh on the other hand as no difficult relations with Pakistan like Afghanistan. In fact Bangladesh has no relation with Pakistan in any way and does not have the power nor potential to cause damage to Pakistan from its own soil since it does not share a border with Pakistan like Afghanistan. This is a purely a personal opinion but some Pakistani girls went to the extent of saying that they would prefer marrying Bangladeshi men over Afghan men simply because they want tranquility. It shows that even they don't see Bengalis as a threat or at least not as much as Afghans.

We all know why Pakistan will never grant those Bengalis citizenship. Granting them citizenship would open a window for Bengalis to be involved in Pakistani politics which is a big problem for Punjabis. Punjabis didn’t want Bengali to rule their country ever even when the Bengali based party won the national elections by a landslide victory during the 1970 elections. Even before the creation of Bangladesh, Bengalis never chose their government. The only Bengalis that were in power where people who were selected by the army and then thrown out by the army. None of those Bengalis were elected through an electoral process. Those Bengali figureheads were artificial representation of Bengalis. Bengalis were making about 10% of whole nation’s bureaucracy before Bangladesh despite the fact that Bengalis were making the majority of the population of Pakistan. There were two leaders Bengalis wanted as rulers before Bangladesh -Fatima Jinnah and Sheikh Mujib and both of them were denied power by the Punjabi/Pathan army. Punjabis and Pathans politicians would be greatly to be ruled by a Bengali would gets elected by the people. Thank God the people of Bangladesh got ride of Punjabi/Pathan rule of 50 years ago.

NOT BANGLADESHIS. They are bengali speaking Pakistanis. Their problem is incomplete paper work left by their forefathers, needs to be sorted by authorities. Such a shame for us a nation, people still have to go through such problems.

I am from Bangladesh and I have personally paid visit to Bihari and stranded Pakistanis camps situated in Mirpur and Mohammadpur of Dhaka. I have seen their situation is very Bad and toil and which is the reason by which they are involving with illegal activities. I would like to request Bangladesh Government to solve this Issue as soon as possible.

There are half a million Biharis or (Stranded Pakistanis) in bangladesh. The Bangladeshi Government thinks of them as threats to their national security as they Supported the Pakistan Army, fought against the Mukti Bahni and Indian forces and shed their blood for Pakistan. But our government denied their repatriation saying that Pakistan doesn't have the resources to host 500,000 people (patriot pakistanis). What happened next? We had to host more than two million afghan refugees. At least there should be a population exchange programme. The Bengalis who want to go and live in bangladesh should be accepted in bangladesh and the Biharis who want to come to Pakistan must be welcomed by our government. We literally USED the Biharis in the war and then threw them away saying that they are Bangladesh's headache now. Shame!
