It's why his friend Jimmy Fallon is such a poor host. Fallon overdoes everything. He fawns excessively over his guests, so no guest truly understands where he/she ranks. For some reason, Fallon is incapable of just chilling and letting the guests shine. Fallon was incompetent on SNL and he's a crap host now. Luckily his sponsor Michaels pays the bills so he's set. It's why I never watch Fallon.
Craig Ferguson was the undisputed master of making his guests comfortable and relaxed imho, but Graham Norton and Seth are worthy successors. In terms of interviewers, Seth is definitely the best by far currently on US late night telly. Also, I could not agree more with @MrOoofah about Fallon, he is beyond dreadful. Just cringeworthy and infuriating - you couldn’t pay me to watch the guy, which is a pity as he often has great guests.
Dan Radcliffe has become, by far, one of my favourite actors. I love how, after HP, he basically decided to act in absolutely everything he can do- silly, serious, weird, messed up, ALL OF IT ! and he is SO GOOD !!!! 🙌 i'll watch everything he's in.

Daniel Radcliffe is such a talented actor and he seems like such a down to earth person even though he's been famous from such a young age. Congrats to him and his partner for the new little one.

DR might be the single most psychologically healthy child actor.....ever? And that's saying something. Especially when you consider his young fame was orders of magnitude beyond what most child actors will ever experience. And yet he turned out super level headed, smart, kind, cool....and with his priorities straight. I'm always super impressed any time I see him being interviewed. He just seems like a genuinely cool human.

My awkward theatre moment was when I had a front row seat to an off Broadway production of the play “Wit”, starring at that time, Judith Light of “Who’s the Boss?” fame. She plays a cancer-stricken college professor. Throughout the entire performance she wears nothing but a hospital gown while she speaks to the audience. In the final scene her character dies and goes towards the light. Or, in acting terms, she stands at the edge of the stage bathed in a bright spotlight, her arms shoot out and the hospital gown falls to the floor. She then stands there, completely naked, with her, um, lady parts, maybe two feet from my face while the audience applauds. And applauds. And applauds. For what seemed like hours. I had nowhere else to look but straight ahead. It was a phenomenal play and she was terrific in it but I kind of felt like a pervert.
