Don't mess with the engineer either, especially when he's IT literate! Survey story: Well at least it worked out in the end. But really the guy should have approached you calmly and would have gotten the info he wanted faster if he had. Building on other's property story: OP, getting a lawyer involved is fine, but putting up a fence would be better... with cameras to make sure she doesn't damage, move or remove the fence.
Last story: OP should skip the threat and offer to call the cops for Karen. Express that she has trespassed on two neighbours' properties before, has threatened endangering my and my neighbour's property, threatened bodily harm, all in the pursuit of theft of property.
Good morning redwheel from Louisville ky putting up outside Christmas decor for my 78 yo mother who has had a possible mini stroke we put her on last nite
The last story, the lady might be trying to capture more land for her plot by 'using' her neighbors' land for her purposes. In some jurisdictions if someone uses their neighbors land without objection - for X# of periods of time - the property is deemed to be owned by the user. So both OP and Darcy need to look at their land use laws and precedents and take appropriate legal action.
This is a fun fact sort of pertaining to story number two before he became president or even a general in the United States Army. George Washington worked as a surveyor.
Las story: If she wanted a bigger land plott, she should have bought a bigger land plott, not buy a small one, and encroaching on her neighbors land 🤦🙄🤬
Last story, unfortunately there are Karens that continue to live in their delusional entitled world and refuse to acknowledge that their not entitled to everything. So it's no surprise that abuse and harassment she did against op and Darcy. Her threat to call the cops was bluff and it's typical that she hurled insults when her bluff got called. I bet it pissed her off more and more every time she got trespassed, the cease and desist and then the restraining order. I'm not surprised that she refused to learn from being trespassed and the cease and desist. She's probably now fuming that she's not getting her way at all and that there's people that will stand up to her.
In the ARMY a bored engineer is pure trouble . High IQ plus boredom or irritation OMG ENDLESS TROUBLE , and multiply by 1000 x the number of soldiers and command that has left them trapped and bored, obviously I was too young to buy booze .We negotiated I drove they paid and I made fresh pizzas and dug out all of my brain puzzles and toys it was the most fun I ever had
They don’t want sidewalks?! WTF?! I used to live in a city without sidewalks, and it was a giant pain in the rear. It was also extremely dangerous for the kids walking to/from school.
Understandable on the issue of sidewalks because there are benefits to having them for a throughway for pedestrian traffic... Something to consider on on the flip side for what is called "Easements" for the sake of what the city can claim for an easement. The allowance is so many feet from a roadway is considered public or city/government property. If a sidewalk is involved......the easement starts from the sidewalk to the end of the easement....not from the roadway. This is something that does not sit well with a lot of landowners as they lose a lot more than just the portion slated for the sidewalk - Not to mention the privacy lost when someone can now stand in front of your property on he sidewalk and gawk because he or she is on a city protected public access
On this side of the world, what is known as a "footpath" (same thing as USA sidewalk) is pretty much mandatory in any "built-up area" apart from a very few historical areas which are permitted to remain, or where it's a minor laneway used only for deliveries to the rear of premises such as businesses. The only question is whether there is a concrete strip or not (policy seems to be to have a concrete strip for foot traffic on at least one side of every street inside a town).
Survey Story: The Lawyers that told the Home Owners to stop ALL Workers including Surveyors from the City from doing work in the Easement at the front of the yards along the road to stop the building of sidewalks gave them VERY Bad Advice...Advice that should get them in trouble with the Florida Bar Association... EVERY City in Canada and the USA reserves a section of land along the roads for future Utility/Road/Sidewalk Work/Expansion called an Easement. They have the Legal Right to dig that up REGARDLESS of what you've installed in it (Gardens, Retaining Walls, Trees etc.) in order to do their work. So if the City is determined to install Sidewalks along the roads, YOU HAVE NO LEGAL RIGHT TO STOP THEM!!!
With the second story about the sidewalks my first thoughts were: "so people don't care about pedestrians and children in their neighbourhood? How dumb can they be?" And than I realized, wait, that's like a majority of the US and Canadian citizens who only care about their car and driving it to everywhere instead of walking, cycling or taking public transportation 😂
Surveyor story stupid advise from a lawyer attempt to prevent city/ state employees from doing their jobs or working in the right of way is a good way to find yourself arrested, not to mention violating state law in the case of surveyors. State/ city right away tend to cover use for roads, utilites and sidewalks many properties along a roadway the property line isn't at the edge of the road but the middle of road though this isn't always the case.
Like what I'm hearing see you in the next one! I haven't felt like commenting, because I lost my husband 2 weeks ago, but I just wanted to let you know it wasn't you or anything you said, you didn't lose a fan.
Last story: after having trespassed her off the land the first time, I'd have called the police to arrest her and pressed charges. Nip it in the bud.
Good morning everyone and RedWheel 😊
Happy Hump Day to everyone 😊
Happy hump day RedWheel hope you are well. Thanks for sharing. Please stay safe.🏴😁😷👍. Have a great day and a wonderful week ahead everyone

That control point thing is interesting, I walk past one everyday
Last story
Literally a karen who thinks she can do anything
A lot of these stories don't even have a satisfying conclusion anymore. They just leave you hanging at the end.
Last story: Sounds like a good fence with razor wire a top it needs to be installed.
Last story: OP should skip the threat and offer to call the cops for Karen. Express that she has trespassed on two neighbours' properties before, has threatened endangering my and my neighbour's property, threatened bodily harm, all in the pursuit of theft of property.
Always file charges on Carrons.
Yay
OMGOSH!!!

I might have let Karen run power underground on my property then build a shop and tie into the power with a cut off for where it goes out to her land
Titles are getting a bit 'clickbaity', but the stories still remain fun and entertaining as usual 😂
I think they're using / reusing previous titles. Probably to save time.
the titles and audio are generated by AI.
Same 3 titles, and all written in Chinese English.

Where's the fun in that for a Karen?
@@mbyerly9680 you're right.
But then again, I don't think in a Karen way, I think in a logic way.

For the love of all that is holy never ever let an engineer get bored. WTFworthy shyte happens when engineers get bored.
