Good job on this review. I was just watching "Tech Minds" review this same radio, but he lives in Europe or maybe England. So everyone is unto this new radio. LOL KD6CFE was here. 73.
@alcampbell Thank you 😃. Yeah, Tech Minds has a great radio and RUclips voice. I like his channel! It's the HOT 🔥 radio! I believe it will do well. Thanks for watching, 73
I used an Anyone 878 codeplug in mine. I did get a band error when I tried to write to the radio. The fix is to load the codeplug, then export it, then import it back. That worked for me. I hope that helps.
Yes, it is! Definitely soild and good good quality... It's the same radio as the Anytone 168. They both get them from the same manufacturer. It's a little bit smaller than the 878 with a few different features.
My wife saw me watching this and said please not another radio lol. What mama don't know won't hurt.
Keep it on the down low.
@MartinAndersonSatanSon 😏
Haha 😄 🤣
I think I like this radio, perfect for Christmas present for myself lol
I'm really enjoying it so far! I hope you like it too! It's my new daily driver.

Great review on this new H/T, thank you. One question though - is the build quality solid and decent, like its older brother AT-878?

Seems like an awesome HT. I’m a new ham so I have to learn DMR and APRS yet. But this seems like a good radio to learn on. Thanks for the review.
This is a great starter DMR radio at a fair price! It's my new daily driver. Thanks for watching 😃
Get a used motorola xpr 4550 mobile radio and skip this china junk! You will thank me later.
Mine didn't come with a programming cable, and none of the ones I have work, frustrating!
It's USB-C programmable, and the USB-C is in the box.
