This has been a classic and one of the best Power DPS burst builds in the game for a long time!

Insane Burst DPS whilst Benching over 38K on the golem, can be tricky to play in some fights due to animation locks and positioning, but 100% worth the effort learning it.
Make sure to use the timestamps if you want to skip sections of the video or if you want to go back and find something you might not remember properly.
EDIT: Small mistake, Axe 4 deals damage to many enemies, but is only able to pull 5 targets total towards you, Also Longbow 4 deals 150 breakbar damage not 300, the tooltip is bugged just like most cc skills that have double effects.

Your extralong guides are the first ones that actually made me understand the concept of rotations per se. I get way more information out of them compared to more condensed guides and it's well worth the time investment. This is great, I'm a main ranger for 3 or more years now.

This is amazing, I wish there were more vods of this caliber, were subtleties, and details are the focus, instead of " let me wack the golem on 1.5 playback speed , while edm music plays"
I'm pretty new to MMOs and the hardest thing for me to learn is rotations, and what skills to use in what order to make the most impact. I always just end up button mashing and hoping for the best lol. Like with Sic Em, I had no idea that it only works on the first person you target with it, but it makes so much sense. There have been times where i just spam it off cooldown or accidentally hit a trash mob with it that I've been throwing without knowing
But this video really helps put things into perspective and I'm probably gonna have to study and make sure I'm doing it right. Really love the content, and thank you for making me a better player. ❤

Hey Mela, thank you to uploaded on youtube, was really useful to understand what i was doing. i really improved after watching your video on twitch. hope to see more guides. i have a question if you woul like to answer.... Power soulbeast is really good on Fractals, but in LFG (strikes and Radis) is rare to be accepted, they preffer Condi or Alac/quick dps. so my question is... can you give us a little knowledge about what is Condi - Quickdps - alac dps and when and where to switch? sorry if i dont explain good, english is my second language. Thank you BTW!
Power soulbeast will be accepted in the lfg completely fine, if people kick you or ask for condi, it will be on a couple of fights that are maybe confusion based or classes like mirage are better. But you can play the build just fine anywhere, if people kick you because of it just find a better group, it will most of the time mean that commander is an idiot
I like these videos you post recently, because it gives me incentive to experiment and try out other builds I would normally not use. I will keep an eye on you, if you ever wander to revenant territory though ^^ .
I'm not sure about the feeling of this build for me. The rotation feels extreemly bursty. Half of the rotation feels like a useless filler, while the other (from bow 5 to axe 2 for the second time) is doing some crazy DPS (it's clearly visible on arc). I assume this makes it perform even better on real fights? Cause you can do some DPS, while filler would usually be where you aim for all of the phase changes and other mechanics to happen.
If you're even in a boss phase where you would have to swap to longbow and use longbow 2 but the boss phases or dies before you can redo your opener, it's better to just stay on axe and do autoattacks, 2 and 3 and maybe use longbow 2 at the very end

They're both good, Power Soulbeast has the benefit of having insane burst damage, I would pick that one if I had to go with only 1 of the 2 options

Amazing guide! I have a question for you, looking through Arc DPS I somehow keep canceling my Splitblade and Point Blank shot and it’s the only thing keeping from hitting bench consistently. Any ideas or tips?
Some skills cancel others, just wait for the yellow bar to finish the cast and then press it after

How feasible would be to do followups on these guides with actual encounter gameplay and voiceover explaining things like reopening, effective use of utilities and when to modify your rotation for burst and how
It would make it a lot longer, and I would not be able to make them as often as I want.

its a bit different from the rotation u used in HT cm , like lb 2, f3 before swapping to axe, is there any change after the patch?
The rotation evolved a bit since then ye, swapping to axe earlier like this allows you to do extra axe 2 and 3 (also lets you do extra axe 2 during sic em) which is better than doing that longbow 2, if for some reason your swap is on cooldown or you wanna delay your axe burst a bit for any reason you can do that longbow 2 before
do greatsword is pretty shit rn what i picked up from soulbeats. was using it as my main weapon 😂
Hi! I've been looking for information on whether having Greatsword instead of dual axes would count as a viable option? How much viability would you lose by doing so?
The greatsword rotation would be better on longer encounters and you would open on axe and swap to GS after, but no one plays it because there is way too many better builds on fights like that.
It's playable but it's also an obsolete build
@@MelaonTwitch What about GS + Longbow? I know it's not optimal, but is it at least semi-viable for casual play (t4 fractals, non-cm strikes, open world, that sort of thing...)? I just really like the style this combo brings.
If you're not playing hardcore content you can play whatever you want, the only thing stopping you is people that might see your dps be low and kick you:
You should be able to do good dps on that build either way, Start on bow and swap to GS, reset GS2 with GS5 and never use GS3, only use 4th skill to block

Wouldn't "rage" rune be better for ultimate damage?
No scholar is significantly better, most of what rage rune gives is useless
Can I use this build for open world?
Yes you can, you might wanna change the frost trapfor something else like lightning reflexes or the stability stance with leader of the pack trait in Soulbeast

Yes, even if right now hammer is better in most raid fights, longbow will be right behind it while being mostly better in fractal fights, same goes for the mainhand axe
Why not use shortbow instead ? It’s faster and has condition damage too. Thanks !
Because you dont stay on longbow for the autoattacks, you use it for longbow burst with sic em and owp

@@ReptilianXHologram Playing endgame mostly actively for over 8 years will do that to you, also winning tournaments and gifts from viewers.
Weekly Raids, Daily Fractals, some Dungeons here and there, daily Strike Missions, pvp dailies some quick open world metas, but over the 8 years of playing after buying the relevant stuff like the permanent contracts and some legenaries i wanted, money just kinda lays there and you end up buying useless things like infusions

im playing soulbeast Longbow/ Giantsword .. Im doing arround 47k dps.. GS is a lot better than axes
It's not, right now sword is the best option.
You are either looking at cleave dps or you are only looking at the first dps number instead of the final ones.
