    For Luxury brands of this level, there MUST be a quality control of the item before shipping. This is unacceptable and you should take this further with their high management. I have worked in this field and these items get put in boxes and shipped by real people, not by robots, and they are trained to verify that the item is in excellent conditions, so someone didn't do their job here. Lately, I am starting to lose interest in fashion to be honest. I see more and more bad and low quality being sold as luxury and customers tricked on buying them. However going back to the Peekaboo, I have heard many people talking about the wear and tear just after few months, maybe just give it another thought.

      Mery F. That’s what I thought too! Like how can anyone send this out. They should have cancelled my order and save me the stress. It’s like some sick joke. Appalling and utterly disgusting tbh 😤🤮💔

      Worked retail too but have had managers tell me to box a bag that was returned. Especially last in stock if deemed still sellable.

    Ultimately my fave way to purchase a bag is in person. I hate spending that much and not physically seeing it first or picking it out.

    That’s just terrible! It’s so sad when boutiques get to the stage where they think that sort of money doesn’t deserve decent service, decent packaging or even a decent condition.

    SEND IT BACK NOW!!! That is so wrong! The Fendi boutique that allowed that to happen needs to take a closer look at their quality control and what they train their associates to do. So unacceptable!

    Omg! I just ordered a fendi mini peekaboo on Sunday! I was so nervous! I ordered it from the flagship store in nyc and he got me a bag fresh out of a box. He sent me a bunch of pictures of it and overnighted it to my house. It was a perfect experience and the bag was perfect! Oh and in a black dust bag as well!! I’d be happy to share me SA if you want to give it a shot! Good luck!

    Wow! No! That's so bad. I've had nothing but really positive experiences at the Fendi Collins street Melbourne store. I've always received the same beige dust bag with my peekaboos bought in store. Waiting for lockdown to end so that I can actually touch and inspect the pieces in person. Never trust online shopping! I'd return it. So sad!

    Ohh no!! The scratches, the uneven leather... you’re right, it may have been a display item that was touched by tons of customers in the store. 🤦🏻‍♀️ So disappointing. I’ve had bad luck with LV online lately... Bad quality, horrific smells, etc. I love the ease of online shopping and the excitement of receiving the packages but yeah, I feel you in taking a break from online shopping for a while. It’s just a mess at the moment.

    That doesn’t look like a new one, so sad it happened again! I got this bag last year from the online store (I am in Europe) and I was so impressed by how it was packaged. I also ordered the Defender and they came in separate shipping boxes, not one giant box like you got. And I remember thinking that there was no hairline scratches on any hardware and somehow I was impressed 😄 it is a beautiful bag, but I understand you now liking it anymore. Hope you have better luck shopping in the future!

    You have not had good luck at all with the Fendi! I feel bad for you cuz all my Fendi bags have been wonderful and look great! I haven't bought from online and only in the stores...makes me nervous to ever order from online!

    Hi Kim! You’re not alone hun.. I’ve been having the same luck, but with LV.. I have ordered the neverfull 4 times and then gave up on that and tried to order a different bag, neonoe and that was a fail too..then! My vintage noe came back from repair and Omg, after 6 months, it came back with glue all along side of the strap, and on the other side of the strap, the glue wasn’t fully dried! The worst part, they got white “stuff” like little dots all over my canvas😩quality has been so bad during quarantine.. I’m done ordering online lol . I’m sorry this happened to you.. you should definitely return it! That is unacceptable! 🤦🏻‍♀️

    Hi Kim, I cannot believe that they shipped this out. I hope it was just an overlook due to the things that we are going through this year. I get turned off with this too! I am so sorry, what a disappointment :( I hope you get a brand new one soon!! I also think it was a display but no excuses where is the QA?

      Leo Lion LV Hi Linda, I cannot believe this happened too. It’s a major turn off for me. It will take me some time to reconsider this brand in the future. It is a beautiful bag however I’m not sure it’s worth it if the wear and tear is this substantial after a few months. I’ve never seen a display bag this bad. Not sure what is going on.     If all of us shoppers know the peekAboo goes in a BLACK BAG you think the guy would of tryed to re-box it in the right bag, He thought you would not notice UGH people ..... Thats why you Realy Need to talk to someone NOT at that store and higher up when you call the 1-800 number , How many people have got things sent out from this store Not knowing it was re boxed , used , damaged , ext. ....

    OH MY GOSH! Girl I found your video because I was searching around trying to find someone else who may have had the same experience I did! I’m honestly feeling like I need to make my own video about my bag! A couple weeks ago I ordered the Iconic Peekaboo with the monster eyes and IT LOOKS HORRIBLE. Dents and scratches in the glaze, scratches and actual dents on the the hardware... No shopping bag or box included in the order which my box was supposed to include... The bag was thrown into a very small shipping box, only wrapped in it’s own dust bag! Now the dust bag is dirty... Most of the hardware does not have protective stickers and the parts that do were clearly place OVER scuffs. I am in SHOCK! Mailing mine back immediately today. I don’t even want to have it in my possession for 24 hours because it is that insane and I don’t want to be saddled with this disaster like it’s what I deserve for the price I paid. What is going on at their distribution centers! The straps on the sides of mine that make it larger or smaller are allllllll wrinkled like somebody opened and closed them for years if I’m being honest. The leather is all worn out on those little straps. There is scuffing on the back of mine like somebody wore it a bunch and it rubbed on rough jeans or a belt???? I purchased it in their pebbled leather so uuummmm my Gucci soho with the same leather has NO rubbing after 3 years... Why does this look rubbed so badly when it is BRAND NEW! Super turned me off as well because I have been dreaming of this monster version of the peekaboo for honestly years and finally decided WELL clearly I do like it enough to pay that much money for something with EYES on it. lol I guess it just wasn’t meant to be..... Oh AND I waited over a week to hear anything at all about my order or about the bag, they charged me even though they aren’t supposed to charge until shipment and when I called to complain and ask where my bag was... Where is my tracking info... The customer service rep was like, “OH not to worry we just shipped it out today.” Ummmmmm are you psychic? You knew I was calling in today so you shipped it that exact same day??? You refused to email me back for days AFTER I was supposed to receive my bag and then all of the sudden it has already been shipped same day? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Doubtful. SO SKETCHY and not a luxe experience whatsoever... I am absolutely put off by Fendi in general now honestly. 🤢

    By the way, the nappa leather is stunning but it scratches quite easily. Also, the hardware attracts hairline scratches like crazy - kind of like Dior bag charms. Perhaps consider the Selleria leather.

    For something that’s only ever been tried on in store (if it’s just what they’ve done, just sent you the floor stock) it has not held up well! You would expect it to maintain some sort of quality. Not worth it at all!

      I’ve considered buying this bag but after seeing how they age in the preown market I decided it’s not worth it. The preown conditions are horrible. I have a 30 year old vintage Chanel that’s still beautiful.

    Hi Kim, I was so shocked to see this happened!! That’s really a used bag!!! Even a preloved bag may be better condition compared to this!! The ‘dent’ or depression near the buckle there is too obvious not to be seen. I really can’t believe anyone would sent such a bag as brand new to a customer 😔😔

    I just got a bag from fendi Australia and the leather quilting had a scratch and it didn't have a security tag attached, you know the one where it says if you remove it you can't return it

Totally unacceptable!!! It's really a shame especially if they sent you a used bag because they oversold. Sad. :(

    Omg 😱 that’s terrible. I’m sorry it’s happened to you again. It’s definitely unacceptable. All the products should be carefully inspected before ship out to customers even more so with high end luxury like Fendi. You should def return, as well as put in an official complaint too.
    I def have learnt few things from your video. I myself never inspected the bags closely before but from now on, i will def do.

    I feel you Kim! I recently received a damaged pair of Manolos from an online retailer - they looked worn and had several damages. At least they refunded me the shipping cost AFTER I complained, but there wasn’t even an apology for all the inconvenience caused. I don’t think I’ll shop from them again 🤔

    I ordered a mini peekaboo green, from the the european website this december. The bag arrived in a box, but with no tissue paper in the box, or inside the bag. It had protection stickers on the hardware, but no wrapping around the strap or handle. The condition is fine overall but the bottom has two clear indents and a spot. I have decided to keep it since it was the last one in green on the eu site, but I would prefered to make the indents on the bottom myself lol. Mine came with the black dustbag. I also got two tags/cards, but also a card how to care for white leather...?. Looks like is was thrown in there in a hurry, and they forgot to stuff it with tissue paper. Well, not overly impressed but at least I didn't get one as beat up as yours. :)

    I just ordered a Fendi baguette charm from Neiman Marcus and it didn't come from NM, it came straight from Fendi NYC - the box had the Fendi box in it and nothing else! No receipt, no wrapping, nothing. It was so bizarre! Now I am thinking Fendi maybe doesn't know what they are doing with regards to shipping and customer service (my bag was new with stickers, but still)...

    Oh that’s awful... it just keeps getting worse as the video goes on.. so sorry. Hairline scratches all over definitely means it’s been used.. or handled.. multiple times. It’s unbelievable they’d even send this to a customer. FENDI in singapore is exceptional.

    Yeah, I'm not surprised at all. When I was in Italy I wen to their store in Rome and Florence. Both places had used deformed peekaboos. I was like, ummmmm no. I had such a sweet SA in Florence and she ordered one for me from the warehouse. Honestly, I was shocked, I thought being in Italy it would make a difference since their bags are made there.. but no.

    I'm absolutely shocked and speechless... unacceptable to send customers a bag that appear to be used. I don't even think display stock bag would get that much wear, especially on the corners. And that text message is just really random and suspicious. I think a complaint to head office is definitely needed.

    This is so unacceptable!! My goodness!! What’s going on with these fashion houses!! Fendi this is beyond terrible! I’m so sorry that you had to go through this unpleasant experience dear.
    Please go to a reputable store and purchase in person if possible. I know the convenience of shopping online. I too shop online as they are no luxury stores in my state, so don’t have a choice either.
    Please get a full refund! Please also report this to corporate office.

    Oh no...this is so frustrating!! Why those brands don’t care about their customers anymore!? This is definitely unacceptable!! I recently purchased a bag from Loewe boutique (thanks for letting me know about 24S they didn’t have the colour I wanted 😭). I called the Loewe boutique in Australia and purchased from them directly because I was bit worried about bag will be sent from overseas. and...Guess what...the bag arrived in completely squashed box...😭 They put the bag in Loewe dustbag with tissue papers and placed in the thin cardboard box directly (no brand box), the bag got creases and dents. They are working on replacing the bag now but why ???

      A Cha oh no! It’s such a hassle and very stressful for you to go through that Loewe experience. Some people seriously don’t know how to package and protect the item. Utmost care is needed. I hope your bag gets resolved xox 🙏💖

    I ordered a Fendi peekaboo essentially online since the closest Fendi is about 3 hours away. I had a similar experience it was all scuffed up. So I figured I will only shop at the boutique if I really really want one.

      Karen Philpotts from what I’ve read today, lots of them get sent off with scuffs and wear on them. If this is the case I’m going to stay away from this bag or if I still love it I will go in the boutique and inspect before I buy. It has completely put me off Fendi 🙁

    Absolutely unacceptable! 😤 How could Fendi do that?! It will ruin their name in the fashion industry. Can’t blame you Kim, this bad experience will surely make you feel very turn off for this bag, I would too! 😣 Instead of seeing the beauty side of this bag, you’re actually seeing so much cons in it. Sigh 😔. Fendi do need to look into improving online reliability, CS & their packaging. Your video is an eye opener for all ladies who loves Fendi. 😶

    This is legit my worse nightmare. Either they send me the wrong item, it's used or there's scratches/scuffs. But I'm also paranoid going in person cause' I had a bad experience from SA's. I hope you get an apology cause' you paid good money for it. (I hope you called them and the bank transfer thing is so sketchy)

    It is should to be return. During your unboxing I notice the box is it used and the papers/certified is lack and then you starting to look the stucture and I think this is a wrong craft or failed or unfinish bag of Fendi.

    OH, I'm so sad to hear this...the mini Peekaboo has been on my wishlist. I have a medium, but it is a bit too big for me. AND I keep purchasing Chanel so the Fendi mini keeps getting pushed down the line...hahahaha...I am still lusting over the Peekaboon mini in calfskin. Hopefully one day I will find the right one. TFS

    I think the model was sold out and the employee sent you a used one and he or she got the money. The bank transfer request was if u were refunded, she would give u her account details n sell her own bag. Guessing

    Peekaboos are so absolutely beautiful but the fact that it was that broken in is unacceptable. Maybe you can either get a newer model (trendier colorway), or go directly to the store? :(

    Wow, unbelievable. Although, I think you should go into the store to purchase the bag so you don't have to do go through the whole return process. I have the exact same bag and I love it. I always reach for it because it is lightweight and spacious. The leather is buttery soft and it just goes with everything.

    I too ,I've in Melbourne, and from March to early June I had great success with online shopping overall. But then all of a sudden in the past 2 -3 weeks something weird has happened. Eg: I ordered a Zimmerman dress from Matchesfashion that came from the UK. Oddly, this item was on my wish list on my online profile, but then I missed out and received an email stating this. 4 weeks later I received an email saying my Wishlist item was back in stock. I assumed either someone had returned it, or, there had been a stock discrepancy in the computer that had been corrected. So I ordered it. When it came one armpit stank like sweat. The other was fine. I sent it back as a faulty, saying they had sent me dress that had been worn. I figure someone had it for around 1 month. wore it, then returned it. I feel like since all the lockdowns the lengthy extended return window for consumers is creating a strange effect when the item gets to you. It's like it's used. Then returned. Even if it's unworn, some items are like the person there it at the back of their stink wardrobe, then remember 2 months later after lockdown to return it.

    Omg how is this possible.. this is bad very bad this bag is more than used. I don’t understand why do they accept returns in such a poor condition. Even if it is a display bag you don’t sent it out to clients it’s inadmissible. I don’t buy high end bags often. Once in a while I treat myself for my birthday and buy a bag a really really want but online shopping stress me out. I’m so picky. I don’t want to see scuffs or scratches on the hardware. You know in Europe they are very very picky with returns.

      sherazade I’m thinking the exact same thing, how could they send out a bag in this condition. It’s supposed to be brand new! I’m not buying it from a second hand boutique. I think I will stay away from online shopping for now too. It’s more stress than it is fun 😆 TFW 💖💖💖

    What a shame, I think you should consider calfskin leather, I would feel so disappointed. I would honestly request a new bag at the old price for all the trouble, it’s outrages.

    Let us know what happens when you return it. I purchased a wallet from Fendi online. I didn’t like the so I shipped it back right away, and it took Fendi 3 months to credit my Visa card. I had to keep calling to see when they reimburse me. And they kept telling me it would be done within a week. Never again!!!

    I ordered the same bag from the Fendi onlinestore yesterday before watching your video. I’m so scared now. I called customer service immediatelly this morning to ask if they could send me a picture before they ship the bag but the man said it has already been shipped. In the tracking number I checked where the bag was being shipped from and I looked up the address and it looks like it’s coming from a wareshop from Italy and not from a shop. So I hope its immaculate 😩😩

    Yes! Stop shopping and save your money. I bought an LV escale onthego and it didn’t seem right so I exchanged and the EXCHANGE came within all the white glue seams showing in EVERY seam! It was crazy. I was so upset. I decided to abort mission.

    This can also happen at the stores. I am fan of Versace men accessories. Bags, and shoes. My experience with them is that I get a better quality item from the online store. I've had a nightmare, with one of my bags, they had to send for repair.

    Wow, this looks like a display model for sure. I have had the same thing happend to me ones from an online retailer. But the bag I bought was a bag on sale so when I contacted them they said it had been a display bag and that was the reason it was on sale. A bit annoying because it didn't say so on the website. They told me it was ok for me to return it though. For a bag coming from the Fendi boutique this it not acceptable at all. Return it asap!

    Your not the only one i have purchased two items from Louis Vuitton and my kirigami box came opened they didn’t seal it corrected and I just got the graphite cle today and there is a giant crease on the side and the stitching is aweful I don’t know I’m done online shopping too so sad 😞

    Felt bad for that to you. I don’t think is only fendi, however all design brand products they don’t have common sense to separate the display bag and the stock bag(which is the keep in the back of ware house). They always said this is brand new piece I do understand is brand new piece but it doesn’t mean no one keep touching and trying on. Specially people paying the higher price for items and of course they want the items wasn’t been touch by some other customer that why we have display bag, but what they do is they try sell the display bag first than the fill up the bag from the back storage. Unless the person doesn’t mind the display or last piece. I always checked and ask if they have new piece from the back store. If they say no than I double check the item, if very wrong I will ask them to order. That case was so bad the conditions for sure is not acceptable but the still try sent out during this COVID 19. I believe should stop buy unless your SA Is trustable.
