We run the same baler, but twine tie. Have changed many bearings on it over the years, we've found that if a bearing goes bad, replace the bearings on both ends of the roller. Replaced all the bearings on the shaft powering the pickups last year, innermost one is awful to get lined up... x2 on good quality bearings only...Awesome old baler though, a lot of bales through it, bought new in '96. Great video.
Thanks. This year we changed almost all the remaining bearings. All the rollers have new bearings and pickup header etc. A bucketful of bearings... But it's all very good now for a long time.
Hei! This summer I replaced those plastic things and bearings on pickup header, as well as the header left side chain. Those roller bearings haven't replaced in this summer, but one will be changed because it started to squeak. Next week I will be baling straw so the repair will be done as soon as possible. Good luck to finish this season! 💪😉
Did you replace the plastic things with plastic or real bearing blocks? Plastic will last if you know that you can/should lubricate them. Good luck with the season. It's been quite warm and hard on the machines.
Thanks! Yes, this summer is hot but good for hay. The grass is small and it's hard to get the right number of bales. That's why I replaced them just for grease nipples because they were smashed off. Bought the original ones at Konekesko, cost it about 21eur. They look like this agrodoctor.eu/bearing/76267-flange-slide-bearing-8137621-for-claas-baler-d28mm-original-.html
Nice hint, thanks. The real bearing block costs the same I guess. But then we would have to restore the shafts also (quite worn out). The nipples were not working and I had to drill them through again to make them work. Same with the hay here, very poor crop this year.. I think the "best" field was about 1 bale per hectare (very dry and stony field).
It's actually very easy to replace the bearings if you know how to do it. It's just that previous owner did not know how to remove sprockets the right way and damaged a lot of things during that.
@@timoteipetrusan5357 The codes are on the old bearings typically, you can find them there. Most of the bearings are similar, just some rollers have different (as far as I remember).
In the old days the red was "export" model and was made from better parts. Other colors were for the 'own - russian' market and not so much built for quality. I don't know how it is nowadays.

Доброго. Кардан без широкоугольника можно использовать? И как влияет на радиус разворота?
Awesome job!!! Darn things seem very complex but one step at a time wins!!

Hello, thanks for this video, can you tell me please from where to buy the bearings? I want to be sure they are good quality
We used SKF bearings. But as it has turned out, they are not the best. So maybe you can find even better quality bearings.
@@hrz4x4 do you know where i can find a scheme with The codes of the bearings or all are the same?

Teraz pierwsze lozysko bedziemy wymieniac na dolnym walcu. Ciekawe jak bedzie nam szlo.
DOES ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO KNOW RIGHT PRESSURE FOR THAT CLOCK ON BALLER [ in russian too].
What clock? Something with the hydraulics you mean?
Yes, cheap bearings makes no ez life.
Ты откуда?
Nice work.....
Для чого свердлити перед випресовкою? Можна нагріти! 🤷
Це було сильно застрягли. 8-10 годин роботи для двох чоловіків, щоб зняти його.
Что то я решил подписаться на него....
