For almost 15 years already, has Chicanes brought his fusion of dance, ambient and pop music. And to many success, given the popularity of Offshore, Saltwater, Dont Give Up, Love On The Run and the more recent Poppiholla and Bruised Water. Last year, Nick Bracegirdle released his Best of album, a collection of the finest Chicane cuts of the past 12 years. The album was a foretaste of the upcoming artist album, set for release this year!
This year, the British songwriter/producer is back with a new single, Hiding All The Stars. Featuring a sample of the legendary Gary Numan Cars and vocals of Tash Andrews , this one is set for big things to happen. Hiding All the Stars is a unique crossover of house and pop, staying true to the Chicane sound with the harmonies and synths working at full force.

I've loved Chicane for at least 13 yrs since my hubby introduced me to them and they have such a varied sound. So wot if occasionally they do a bit of this, ALL big artists do it, its not a fucking crime and if the public want to hear it then good. I hate it when people get all up themselves and nippy because an artisit has done something they dont like, my advice, fuck off and dont listen to it then! personally this track gives me goose bumps, fab for listening to while walking home from work

If a Dj needs to become commercial,it´s because they need to be heard,and maybe some songs are not cool,but they are music,and really who ever likes electronic music can say it.I like the song,it´s calm,decent not so exceding like other dj´s.

Is there any reason why Chloe Mazlumian is not credited as the vocalist? she does use a pseudonym of Natasha Andrews, Natasha beingher middle name and Andrews being her late husband harry's surname. Her brother, Owen provides vocals on both At The Villa People and Nalin & Kane's versions of Open Your Eyes, and like his little sister is not credited. It's about time we see more Armenians being credited in music instead of just Cher and Serj Tankian. Oh yeah, Mazlumian is not even credited as the writer of the lyrics, what's up with that?
