  • Here's the long-awaited fourth part of my modded MM2 playthrough. There are now more mods as promised, as well as the best background music I could find for every race. I decided not to pick some music for "Brake Dancing", as I felt that it wasn't necessary because of the objective in the mission. Speaking of "Brake Dancing", as I have Revisited v6 installed, you will find that the mission now takes place in an entirely new location, but still part of San Francisco. It is the Alcatraz Island expansion, which you can access in Cruise mode by pressing Space at a hotspot in the now-improved Pier 39. It may be a small island, but there's no shortage for fun here.
    I decided to turn off the 3D shadows as they started to make my game lag. It seems that they work fine in London, but in SF, the lag occurs, or maybe it's because I've installed about a dozen more car mods. The Customizable Opponents mod may be such a great mod, but if you pick the New Beetle RSi and set it to "Same Class", most opponents will pick cars that are marginally slower than the RSi like the NA Miata, 240SX, and MR2. It would've made sense if the New Beetle RSi was pitted against the S2000 class, since both cars make around the same horsepower. However, every modder tends to tune their car differently (but not too drastically), so I can't complain much. Also, speaking of mods, I still hope someone will make a low-poly Nissan 350Z for this game, as I believe it would've been perfect for this episode and I'm a fan of the 350Z.
