This was Arrow on the verge of figuring it out... but they never got the chance to continue on these. Computer aided physics and engineers that understood them were relatively new to the scene. This coaster looks much smoother than their previous coasters and the only Arrow Custom Looper built after this (Tennessee Tornado) is widely regarded as the best Arrow Looper. Steve Okamoto (Whose fingerprints are all over this one) went on to design the Morgan Triplets (Wild Thing, Steel Force, and Mamba) Steel Dragon 2000, and the reworked Phantoms Revenge for D.H. Morgan (A spiritual and literal descendant of Arrow.) The Morgan Track, Trains, and construction are just improvements on what Arrow had done. You could say that the Morgan team perfected that particular track style.
Strange how the entire length of the track has stairs and catwalks running alongside it. Never seen anything like that. Cool coaster though. Reminds me of Pepsi Max The Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in the UK
GP comments get kinda irritating m8 I was just thinking about how difficult the designers back then had it, not only having the angles to worry about, but making sure transitions are surviveable with the lack of flexibility and dynamic of the tracks. We've come a long way but there is a lot of skill to the Dynamics. The ... Arrow... Dynamics ...
+tripster2011 Thats a stupid move to be honest. I think you should have to pay to get into big parks like thorpe park and alton towers which are mainly based on thrill rides but when you have a thrill and famiy theme park it sould be free entry.
It was 1997 the last last time I got in free. Me and a mate got slightly drunk before going in. We went on the Grand National three times in a row, before heading uptown for our night out lol ;-)
Don’t worry if you didn’t get the chance to ride this coaster. It’s pretty much just Desperado’s crappy first half with Magnum XL 200’s amazing second half.
I believe this ride was built in the 90s, and Arrow Dynamics was still hand welding the track.... I mean B&M and Intamin were using computerized track Arrow....
hey themepark review! at Warner Bros. Movieworld, they are creating a hyper coaster and it should be coming in September 2017. it would be awesome if you could come and video the experience thanks
+Astro Gamer or Magnum XL 200 probably better,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i love Japanese coasters often breathtaking views take some getting used to the endless stairs they have to have for earth quake evacuation on the going down hills and throughout the whole coaster:)
Why do coasters in Japan need a walk or stairs that cover the entire track? Also, the ride looks fun, but damn, it's turns are so cumbersome. I don't miss Arrow at all.
last month, i went here from southern California with my mom (by the way i am 10) and when we went here, there was a huge storm. guess how long it took to get from southern California, to Space World Japan. 17 hours. and guess what. everything was closed. today, i went to Knott's Berry Farm field trip in the Saddle Back Uniffied School District, and everything was open. even though it was raining hard.
In Japan building codes require catwalks around the entire circuit of a roller coaster. It's the law and it's because of earthquakes for quick and effective evacuation.
Well on Loch Ness Monster there isn't a catwalk throughout, but there are steps ON the track and ladders on the track during drops and loops throughout
+Connor Byers Yea there is. That's actually a pretty smart idea. But I haven't seen that feature on any other Arrow Loopers or Hypers. They're Corkscrew Models, Viper (SFMM), Magnum XL 200, none of them. But the Loch Ness Monster was one of they're first projects so that might e been why
No Catwalks = if coaster gets stuck, your going to be screwed over and have to wait, = catwalks = easier time for workers to get to coaster on chain. Problem solved
Holy crap that is like the fastest lift hill in all of Asia lol.
I know right, usually an Asian lift hill takes like 10 times longer than this lol
just there's intamin-ish lifthill in Korea called T Express
I mean Arrow lift hills are still a little slow :D

This roller coaster was wasted. It should've been relocated
is it just me or would running down all those catwalks and stairs be more fun than the actual ride? lol
Omg that's the funniest comment ever
TheQdawg24 lol
No. This ride was literally so fun.
Look at those Magnum hills at the end
I love Arrow coasters, wish they were still in business.
@A Cringey Channel went bankrupt, a combination of the resources spent on X and business being taken by other manufacturers
This park has closed now. RIP
Damo Coaster! What has become of the coasters?
@@urbex_coasters This coaster has been demolished
Awwwww but it was such a legendary ride
D’:
I like how it's called Titan
Eren randomly pops up
"Did you just say Titan?"
I'm like sitting here waiting for someone with erens name to comment XD
And don't forget this is in Japan!
@@dotwarner6286 RIP TITAN MAX
Strange how the entire length of the track has stairs and catwalks running alongside it. Never seen anything like that. Cool coaster though. Reminds me of Pepsi Max The Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in the UK
in japan they require catwalks on all rides.
It reminds you of the big one because it nearly an exact copy lol
This and the big one are both Arrow coasters so that’s why they’re similar
It looks like something made in roller coaster tycoon haha
That's Arrow coasters for you;.
It looks better then rct3
GP comments get kinda irritating m8

I was just thinking that.
Then I looked down and read this.
I CAME HERE TO COMMENT THE EXACT SAME THING HAHAHAHA
2:17 not airtime-just triangle
Catwalks, catwalks everywhere on every single TRACK
Its a law in Japan and China to have all those catwalks on a roller coaster.
Anthony Sam why? The USA doesn't have to add catwalks on every single track, so why does Japan have to?
GameCheater803 Because they get earthquakes often, so if an earthquake was to happen, they could escape easily.
EvaristeWK Then why doesn't California have that law?
GameCheater803 It's fault line is slightly less potent and Americans Use Cherry Pickers.
Are you sure you want to completely demolish Hyper Coaster 1?
One of the smoothest coasters I have ever seen in my life!
Really?? It looks like a really lumpy track design.
@@gojewla that's because it was hand built before PC simulation was a thing and they had to eye things out and make it look decent.
nomine for fastest lift hill in jappan
and longest catwalk in the world.
+Coaster Universe steel dragon 2k...
Flying dinosaur
*Asia
This looks so fun definitely want to ride this someday
At least it's better than the other titan
Was there ever an attack on this coaster?;)
i was about to make an attack on titan pun then I read your comment xD
OH MY GOD!! Great Video! I am RUclipsr from Germany! Best Whishes! Patrick
I'm too poor to go to even Blackpool Pleasure Beach, so to see stuff like this truly makes up for it! Keep em coming!
isn't it free entry lol?
+StealthzXBL nope you have to pay in mate ( never used to though)
+tripster2011 Thats a stupid move to be honest. I think you should have to pay to get into big parks like thorpe park and alton towers which are mainly based on thrill rides but when you have a thrill and famiy theme park it sould be free entry.
+StealthzXBL we agree full heartedly mate its a shame but the powers that be wanted to bleed us all dry 😞
It was 1997 the last last time I got in free. Me and a mate got slightly drunk before going in. We went on the Grand National three times in a row, before heading uptown for our night out lol ;-)
Arrow was the company that started the coaster wars and was one of the biggest pioneers in roller coaster history until their late demise.
you mean early demise
You guys do know that the employees may still be working because the company was bought by S&S
Don’t worry if you didn’t get the chance to ride this coaster. It’s pretty much just Desperado’s crappy first half with Magnum XL 200’s amazing second half.
GREAT QUALITY
I wish Arrow made more Hypers when they were around.
Classic RCT transition at 1:48
was there in 2005 :)
Wonderful experience
Nominee for "Fastest Lift Chain in Japan"
I believe this ride was built in the 90s, and Arrow Dynamics was still hand welding the track.... I mean B&M and Intamin were using computerized track Arrow....
Robb Alvey is DA MAN!
The banking is quite odd and rough but other than that, it looks like a blast!
This looks better than Magnum XL-200
This is basically yellow Magnum xl-200
*THAT CATWALK THO*
hey themepark review! at Warner Bros. Movieworld, they are creating a hyper coaster and it should be coming in September 2017. it would be awesome if you could come and video the experience thanks
I looked it up on RollerCoasterDatabase.com. It formerly looked similar to the Magnum, but its layout still does.
this actually looks like a decent arrow hyper
this coaster has since been re-painted red and is now known as Titan V
amazing arrow coaster. seems better than phantom revenge hyper coaster
Nah phantoms better.
+Astro Gamer or Magnum XL 200 probably better,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i love Japanese coasters often breathtaking views take some getting used to the endless stairs they have to have for earth quake evacuation on the going down hills and throughout the whole coaster:)
Guys it's called Titan cause Saturn has a moon named Titan. It has nothing to do with Attack on Titan.
Magnum even has the bars on the side of the track for catwalks (I see you're a fellow Cedar Pointer)
Why do coasters in Japan need a walk or stairs that cover the entire track? Also, the ride looks fun, but damn, it's turns are so cumbersome. I don't miss Arrow at all.
Because of earthquakes
Is this Steel Dragon's slower, shorter and left-handed cousin?
I would like to borrow this video😊
this ride looks soooooo awesome!!!
1:43 is that the same weird element as in anaconda??? Does this one ride better?
an arrow hyper? pack your bags we're going to japan!
Wow a japanese looper with actual paint rather than rust.
@themeparkreviewTPR what do you think is better this or Behemoth at canada's wonderland?
Anyone remember: "This is the most interesting thing my body has ever gone through."
watching this video I was thinking this can't be an Arrow the transitions are too smooth then at 1:40 the brilliance of Arrow shows its ugly head.
Lmao i had the SAME thoughts...lol
tht drop though :3
love that one!
Looks quite fun, if somewhat slow paced.
Do you prefer this, Desperado, or Magnum XL-200?
This is surprising... A FAST ARROW LIFT!!!
Wow, that's A BIG Arrow.
OHHH so product placement @ your bottom left corner @ 3:27 and umm...where could i get one of those bags
why don't you go on Titan six flags over texas
it used to be red in color, right?
Is this in Japan? Cause I couldn't see the entire title....
That looked horrendous, but somewhat fun
last month, i went here from southern California with my mom (by the way i am 10) and when we went here, there was a huge storm. guess how long it took to get from southern California, to Space World Japan. 17 hours. and guess what. everything was closed. today, i went to Knott's Berry Farm field trip in the Saddle Back Uniffied School District, and everything was open. even though it was raining hard.
OMG A COASTER IN JAPAN THAT DOESNT LOOK LIKE ITS GONNA FALL APART
the chain lift is making a nice beat lol cut your volumes up
Is it always cloudy in Japan?
When You Went To Old Australia Did You Go On The wild west Falls
This looks like it was put together in Roller Coaster Tycoon.
Is this getting relocated?
No
Lol the coatser looks so awkward with all the straight hills
Nah theres a lot of parts where its just going straight up or straight down at an angle instead of being sorta rounded like most of the ones today
The simplicity of this coaster makes it look far more enjoyable then all the many inverted coasters ive ridden
joseph Russell it's not inverted tho thats why
@passthepipe1 Japan has tamed their roller coasters down compared to the USA for whatever reason.
In Japan building codes require catwalks around the entire circuit of a roller coaster. It's the law and it's because of earthquakes for quick and effective evacuation.
The "Dunky part" looks a little like the new element on Cheetah chase.
@chimayai it looks more like 70 from the camera but i can see it from 60
Nice ride but it does look a bit slow.. maybe coz of the brakes midway..
Is this in fukuoka prefecture?
this looks so painful ?
@4inafield No, It's for earthquake evacuation
They must've been really concerned about safety because you have that Catwalk throughout the entire ride...
Well on Loch Ness Monster there isn't a catwalk throughout, but there are steps ON the track and ladders on the track during drops and loops throughout
+Connor Byers Seems kinda strange that they would have the walkway on the track in the loops but you never know what could happen I guess
+Mikey watch a pov
+Connor Byers Yea there is. That's actually a pretty smart idea. But I haven't seen that feature on any other Arrow Loopers or Hypers. They're Corkscrew Models, Viper (SFMM), Magnum XL 200, none of them. But the Loch Ness Monster was one of they're first projects so that might e been why
The catwalks and wire along Loch Ness Monster help for routinely inspecting the track for any fractures or things of that nature.
Arrow Dynamics
AKA
Steel corkscrew roller coaster
3:27 - the guy on the right
5:11 guy on the left
well there are many reasons but then again i dont know any
It's Steel Dragon Jr.!
Maybe the catwalk is an *in case of emergency evacualtion in the event of an earthquake* sort of thing or something. Very weird.
Sloth liked it.
fun fast ride
You Read My Mind!
Ive ridden this before. ENORMOUS G forces
looks rough :D
park was closed.....
Erm... is it just me or does this coaster look a bit tame?
I miss Arrow Dynamics... S&S just isn't the same....
What is with all of the catwalk on all parts of the track?? Wut..
I lived 2 hours from space world
I lost my glasses on this ride in 1994lol anyone find them?
The trains look similar to Magnum's!
@chazziny Seriously huh, but in the US thats the normal speed ;)
Looks like Japanese Phantom's Revenge
Holy shit! He has many accounts!
No Catwalks = if coaster gets stuck, your going to be screwed over and have to wait, = catwalks = easier time for workers to get to coaster on chain. Problem solved
Think that was designed in RCT3.
I think "Kaiju" would have been a better name for this coaster.
