This show is so strong that they don't even need to make an episode every like 2 weeks. It's very iconic and parents and kids keep watching it. Also for some reason in the pilot they had alot of characters they could use. There was a whole gang of chicken and they don't even use them after that!

Likely because the easiest way I can imagine to animate this fluidly would be to use motion capture on a real pianist. I’m guessing that’s what they did here. I’d bet animating it manually would require much more work and look very robotic.
