To me, Dragonforce sounds like some sort of Power Rangers-esque hero vigilante squad. A medieval Power Rangers-esque hero vigilante squad that fights with tamed dragons and dragon themed weaponry and powers, to be exact. This is their theme song for when they go out to battle the strongest of evils in my eyes.
There was a game called Dragon Force in the early 90's for Sega Saturn, and saw a limited North American release. It's one of the rarest NA Saturn games.

4:00 the true Battle finally begins.
4:58 your almost there but the monster's attack pattern becomes erratic in a last attempt to destroy you.

This sounds like the theme to a final boss of an RPG. An epic, hugr battle. The stakes are high, the 4 heroes taking on an enormous foe. I can see it all.

Fun fact: they just slapped in an 8-bit soundbank over the only multi-track MIDI for the song, as of original writing. The MIDI file itself did not implement the PacMan sound effect.

There is actually a 90s game called Dragon Force on the Sega Saturn. Maybe one of the best strategy games ever. Unfortunately hard to get as the Saturn game costs over £100 on ebay and I don't think it has been re-released on a another console.

Listening to this while packing all my stuff to move out from living with my parents into my first place. Excellent song, builds a very good atmosphere for it, feels almost legendary, like the end of an old-school rpg where they set up the story for the confirmed sequel, where the hero saved his homeland in the first game, and is travelling off into the horizon to go on to new lands as the credits roll.

I'm kinda new, kinda in and out of this channel cuz metal is more my thing. But I've listened to this song probably upwards of 100 times since I first discovered it in 4 years ago or so. As you guys probably well know, it's an incredibly complex and chaotic piece of music.
And you NAILED it. I know this song intimately, and you hit every last part of it. Every sound you hear on the original DragonForce recording is represented somehow in this cover. The sheer detailing you guys must do, good Lord.

This sounds less like a boss level and more like that one bit where, all of a sudden, we're doing a high-speed hoverbike chase through a shopping mall or something, and everything's exploding, and there's six new enemy types we've never seen before, and lil bro with the MadCatz controller keeps drifting into the bottom of the screen and dying so I need to keep grabbing the 1ups as well as focusing on my own not-dying-to-explosions situation, and now there's a robot skeleton boss on the back of a flatbed truck completely unannounced and it all takes like three separate Blockbuster rentals to get past.

Imagine a final battle where you have to go through every previous boss that you defeated, but really really buffed, and that each move has a time limit, while you have to beat all of them under another time limit. Then the actual end boss is near impossible to beat with constant and very fast attacks while the world around you tears apart. That is this song.
