@Halo Bayd the bass is amazing. Out of all the iems I have (with Mest and Raptgo) being on the large size, this set exceeds the size to the point of fatigue. I've tried spinfits (my go to) and their okay. Seem like they won't stay in. Deconi's hold but hurt after a bit. Azla have a good sticky hold but still the fatigue is there. So I listen tonthem as long as I can and switch or stop completely.
@@MechInfantry2AD What I wanted to tell you was that in aysli, for example, qkz x hbb's head is very hard and I have a bass head, but it is very unpleasant to listen to, a very hard bass. for example kbear rosefinch a warm bass is like cotton and deep. Which side is legato on?
@@halobayd9612 hard almost muddy bass. I love bass but this sound drowns out everything else. No stage, treble is light barely noticeable. I don’t see long term use of these but for 100 buck it’s ok.
The 7HZ Legato will be on demo this coming weekend on March 25th and 26th at Canjam Singapore, Booth F7 (Linsoul counter) at Pan Pacific Singapore. See you there!
This is moving up on my interest list fast. I've been looking for something very different and high quality than the usual Harmon tune lately. This fits perfectly.
Honestly, looking at the graph for the first time, my immediate thought was that this will be the upgrade path for anyone with a Tripowin Mele 🤣 definitely interesting IEM
@@SuperChonk thanks for the review, man. Probably one of the earliest one for the Legato that I've seen thus far. Definitely interested to get this as a bassy set upgrade + my 1st 2DD set 👍🏻
How does it compare to simgot ea500. I want to upgrade from wan'er. Which do you suggest among the two for sheer enjoyment. Your opinion matters to me.... Thanks
Both very different. The Legato is more fun sounding with dynamic bass great if you are chasing the club feel in music. The EA 500 is for a more serious listen. Where you want to listen to the layers of music. Both are great just different.
Wow this could be the best little brother to my already insane 7hz timeless. Was looking for a full dd set for a change. Do you think they will be a great sidegrade or little brother to timeless? Especially for bass upgrade (ofc only in weight as speed of bass on timeless was already legendary) ?
I am listening to QKZ x HBB (the original, not KHAN) right now. Would you say the Legato is a worthy upgrade? The frequency plots look similar (ish), but the Legato is 5x the price.
Yes. The thing about frequency response is that it tells you nothing at all about the quality of the tone. The only thing it tells you is that they are both bassy iems hahaha
Well, there is quite a few of late, the legato here is a bass head iem with very decent technical chops. If you are looking for something that has good midrange and upper midrange then the simgot ea500. Truth ear Project Red is another very decent pair. That is pretty balanced!
Just ordered this. First IEM for me. I'm looking for a cable with a very good microphone but I can't find reviews for IEM cable mics talking about the actual microphone quality
@@Crashboomwallop The quality of the built in one is far superior than anything else and I have trouble using anything other the official one without the IEMs falling out of my ears
Actually, if you are thinking long term a 4.4mm cable can scale with your future iems as well in the future when you get more gear and DAP/dongle. If I had one spare I’d use it :)
@@SuperChonk I just saw the first impression on another channel and there the person used a balanced cable. And in the reviews on Bqeyz Topaz they said that despite the low sensitivity, it requires a good kick (there is also a large speaker). But at the same time, I now have financial difficulties and would like to avoid unnecessary expenses.
Sorry if this was in the video, I just don't understand English very well. Are these headphones suitable for listening to not only electronic and slow music, such as metal?
These earphones are bass heavy which usually would suggest that bass can be a little slower but I find them rather acceptable in terms of speed. Metal is a genre that requires speed and transient response. I think they will be ok for metal but you can also consider a pair that has a faster bass response so that bass sounds tighter.
This is quite different from the Maestro Mini though. I would say that these are generally more well rounded. They will not be like a bass cannon like the Maestro Mini. If you want something that is similar and alternative to the Maestro Mini, consider the 7hz Legato!
I enjoy your reviews, but I find it hard to believe that the Legato is better than the WUZETIAN in terms of resolution, but opinions are opinions. A comparison with a few other IEM would have been nice.....S12....S12Pro....Timeless AE.....Jade JD07......Tin T4PLUS...... Khan.
Haha that will be for another day. The Wu Zetian has lots of bass but texture in the bass, isn’t that well defined. The Legato does well with regards to this.
@@SuperChonk I will have to get a Legato and hear for myself . With the amount of bass the Legato shows and with my experience , usually texture is not something that happens.... but this could be a first. Once again nice review!
Just ordered these too. Excited to hear them. Love the bass. Great video!
Thanks for watching :)

This is quite different and a very solid different “flavour” compared to other harman earphones

Yeah I absolutely agree about this stupid Harman curve trend can't stand trends.

You can blame Crinnacle ,Gizaudio and many other reviewers who seem to like flat sounding, boring, clinical sound signatures.
