It's great to see more Anker products in these gear reviews! Keeping our tech charged up is becoming more and more important, and in most situations, the phone is the most important piece of "survival" gear the 300+ million people in this country use on a regular basis.
That's a great system. For years I carried a Maxpedition Sitka as my edc bag. I recently switched to a FalconII backpack and while I really like it, I find myself overloading it. I am seriously considering switching back. That and the ease of dealing with a single strap.
Great video I like seeing other people's ideas and set ups I'm currently working on two bags ones for my wife's car and one is a edc bag for myself having a lil trouble though.
Agreed I think you have hit the nail on the head with your EDC and the items you selected I am going to simply replicate what you did and use it for my own EDC bag
Just a suggestion. I tried the nite ize gear ties. They're not as good as basic velcro cable ties. The velcro weighs less, costs a TON less (less than $10 for fifty 6inch lengths of velcro, compared to about $10 for six 6inch lengths of nite ize), and does everything you honestly need the nite ize to do. I will use velcro for holding charging cables for devices, and for paracord. The nite ize weigh very little, the velcro cable ties (you can buy them in a roll like tape) weigh a fraction of what the nite ize weigh. Yep, the velcro will eventually get filled with crap or otherwise stop working. Eventually. Until then they work fine. When that happens I can replace it with another tie that costs almost nothing, and I've never used nite ize or velcro on anything that I was betting my life on (like keeping cords from becoming a mess).
So is this something that goes with you everywhere? I have a similar bag I use as a "get home bag" with a lot of the same stuff but it stays in the trunk most of the time and has a shelter, emergency blanket, and a cup and esbit stove I could use to boil water if needed. I am so torn about changing the bag up to something more useable like what you have simply because I would like to have some of the other items with me all the time (mutli-tool, flashlight, etc) but feel it is overkill. I guess I am still working that out... Btw, great to see you with the Bible. It is definitely a must, even though I normally rely on an electronic version on my phone. Thanks again for all your videos!
Also forgot to mention. My multi tool and a bic lighter fits in most any fifth or watch pocket. Super handy to have. I believe it can also double as car escape device. The tiny lanyard hole could bust a window open. In many car wrecks things inside your car become hard to get to including your belt cutting window breaking tool. However if you have a compact multi tool in your fifth pocket its going to be more accessible in a car accident or if your car becomes submerged in water
Great to see that you carry a Bible. I never think of it because of the Bible app on all of my devices but I'd be lost without power so I'm going to add that to my pack. I have the Maxpedition Jumbo and was wondering if you've done a side-by-side of your pack with the Jumbo.
+G36Jeff He enjoys reading fiction while waiting for the zombie apocalypse. I guess if his 4 knives and his little bag will give him comfort when the nukes explode, more power to him. At least he won't have to worry about making fire.
gideonstactical we've all been there haha I used to use the same bottle but then i switched to the Mountainsmith Rift with the help of your video and found it didn't fit as easily as i wanted to and i was searching for a new bottle at the supermarket which was Giant for me and I found a Coleman 26 oz stainless steel water bottle that has a straw so you can drink easier and they are strong enough to survive boiling as I've bought and tested about a dozen for my families edc and go bags and it was 5 dollars!
If you attach a zip tie to the thumb hole of your spyderco and trip off the excess it will open as you deploy it from your pocket in similar fashion to an emerson wave.
Ive no idea how you kept a straight face with saying dump so much and then when you switch screens you go ok this is the dump i just did! Hilarious....
Grrat video. Good set of kit. I noticed tbe Lawhead book. I've read some Lawhead stuff but I'm not familiar with that series. Is it any good? (I know it's not a book review channel but curiosity is a good tbing right?)
Great video and interesting dump, very informative! :) PS: Too bad I can't order Vanquest stuff here in Europe (Czech Republic). Maxpedition, that's possible because some shops sell their stuff (but you need to ask in the shop to order the stuff as only a few things are actually in stock here) - but Vanquest are a no go. :/
Aaron, I echo the comments of some of the others. It is great to see that someone else carries the Sword of the Lord in their edc bag. Most important tool in your entire bag. By the way where did you purchase your Vanquest bag? Thanks for your vids. I enjoy them immensely.
I don't think I saw a sewing kit, even just a small one. Besides small stitch jobs, it's good for closing gaping wounds...even though it'll be hard to thread the needle if you're bleeding out. I guess you could use the duct tape for that.
Nice vid Aaron. I used to carry my Bible but I now have it on my IPad. BTW, I absolutely love my Mobius. When will you do a review on it? Vanquest has them marked down in the fire sale section on their web site. God Bless!
Nobodys Hero Review coming soon on it, and I tried the Ipad bible for a while. I am just to old school I guess, I like to have the physical book in my hands. lol.
In your opinion do you think that 600 codura will stand up for the general person "Not Armed Forces" in the field? On a large pack 1000 series empty bags are much heavier than the 600. I don't know if that question was very clear.
great video, very similar to what I EDC with a few personal preferences of course. thanks for sharing. oh, one thing, I always carry a flashlight on my person, like you said, if your at the movie or somewhere like that one does not carry the bag with them, I like to have a flashlight on my person all the time.
have you reviewed arcteryx khard 30? i cant find it if you have just curious what you think it may fall in against this bag or just in general. i am a soldier and i have been looking in to getting a good pack.
***** How ? His taste in poorly written bronze age-Roman fiction literature and opinion on gun carry differ to that of mine, leading me to not wish to subscribe.....so how does that enable you to belittle the intellectual capacity of my statement ????
Good review and well thought out gear. Personally i'd ditch the bible as religion and firearms do not mix too well. Have a look at iraq. Syria or even oregon
***** Actually the founder of Vanquest was a cofounder of Maxpedition, and I have used and review maxpedition and vanquest stuff and the vanquest products are better designed and the some or better quality.
Being a gadget geek I thought you would have a lot more in your bag. Your actually a normal dude. It's nice to see a realistic dump.

Nice setup that you have there. I really appreciate your faith testament. Blessings from Pittsburgh, PA. Laura
Lellobeetle Right on! Thank you and blessings this Easter Season.
I always enjoy seeing what other people carry! Thanks for sharing!
janken919 Right on!
Great video. Looks like you have it covered and I picked up a couple of ideas on things I need to carry too. Thanks b
Survival On Purpose Right on, thanks!

Blue Mountain Bushcraft and Outdoors I hear the Sitka gets uncomfortable when you start loading it up...any truth in that?
It definitely does if you load it too heavy.
Nicely done with the EDC dump. Especially with the pocket game! A Bible is DEFINITELY a MUST! Got to update mine - particularly the medical kit.
Tactical_RN Glad you enjoyed it.
Great video I like seeing other people's ideas and set ups I'm currently working on two bags ones for my wife's car and one is a edc bag for myself having a lil trouble though.
Great vid dude! You always do the best Edc and gear reviews!
mackenzie yates Thanks so much, really appreciate it.
I enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing. I'm really appreciating your channel more and who you stand for.
Outstanding filming! Sound is good and content is on point. Thanks for sharing. Blessings to you.
Ispowz17751975 Thanks!
Very smart setup! Double-Thumbs up for carrying your Two-edged Sword! God bless you Sir!
Appalachian Freedom Outdoors And same to you!
Agreed I think you have hit the nail on the head with your EDC and the items you selected I am going to simply replicate what you did and use it for my own EDC bag
Very refreshing to see someone carry a bible around. Makes me like ya even more.
Bible is really cool stuff you have, man! I appreciate. Lot of people think, it is not so important. Really nice pack! All of it is useful.
Thanks for showing us this breakdown always nice to see what others are doing
Love that you carry your Bible with you! I need I to get into that habit! Great vid!
BFourG Ace Thanks so much!
Good stuff, my favorite edu item you have is your well used Bible!
RiderOnThe Storm Thanks!

+Will An Glad you like everything!
Yea makes great toilet paper.
+G36Jeff He enjoys reading fiction while waiting for the zombie apocalypse. I guess if his 4 knives and his little bag will give him comfort when the nukes explode, more power to him. At least he won't have to worry about making fire.
LOL I totally get the being able to drive and drink at the same time. I have water bottles that don't do that well and I notice the difference.
***** Ya, its a pain to spill on yourself when you are on the road.
gideonstactical we've all been there haha I used to use the same bottle but then i switched to the Mountainsmith Rift with the help of your video and found it didn't fit as easily as i wanted to and i was searching for a new bottle at the supermarket which was Giant for me and I found a Coleman 26 oz stainless steel water bottle that has a straw so you can drink easier and they are strong enough to survive boiling as I've bought and tested about a dozen for my families edc and go bags and it was 5 dollars!
Great video, Aaron. Did you ever do a vid on your medical kit? I didn't see a link in the description.
Wow!, yours is the first kit I've seen that has Altoids in their Altoids tin! Losta good stuff in there.
dennis poley Haha!
If you attach a zip tie to the thumb hole of your spyderco and trip off the excess it will open as you deploy it from your pocket in similar fashion to an emerson wave.
Altoid tin with altoids in it? OBSURD!! Thanks, been working on a EDC bag for the city.
Very nice edc dump looks like I need to add some stuff to my edc.
Gear Nut Right on!
Good stuff, looks like it has some weight to it. How much do you think it weighs ?
Awesome vid as always. A very comprehensive dump.....
Haha thanks!
Ive no idea how you kept a straight face with saying dump so much and then when you switch screens you go ok this is the dump i just did! Hilarious....
Good stuff. I need to put one of these together. Thanks for posting.

Great dump.
cool video, I have the Maxpedtion jumbo, almost identical. I call it the man purse. good to see another guy packing his two edged sword.
Damn, that's more than some people take camping! Great vid and EDC. Do you carry any of that stuff on your person or is it all off body in the bag?
***** Most of it is in my bag except for the items that I listed in the beginning.
Great stuff.. Thanks for sharing. I need to do an EDC video soon.
Thanks!
Love the wallet been using it for about 9 months.
0WickedSensation0 Very cool

Lyle Caudill ...The Vanquest Mobius bags are currently on sale (under fire sale) on the Vanquest web site. Best price on the web for them. Love mine.
Lyle Caudill Thanks so much and yes on their website is the best place.
Thank you Aaron!

michael leon Right, I will take my EDC light out and carry it in my pocket at the movies.
What jacket are you wearing? It's awesome!
Phil Ellison Columbia.
Aaron, Could I fit a thurmas in the main compartment of the Vanquest mobius along with two large books like the ones you have in the video?
Your voice sounds like an extra on family guy. Great vid by the way
Slade Persona Haha, thanks!
Like the video, you can save some room and weight by using the Amazon Kindle app to download the reading material and carry more of a varity.
colorado 14K Thanks for the suggestion.
have you reviewed arcteryx khard 30? i cant find it if you have just curious what you think it may fall in against this bag or just in general. i am a soldier and i have been looking in to getting a good pack.
Have you eone a review of your foldable knife sharpener? I'd like to pick one of those up
stupiddumbtard79 Yes, looking my gear playlist.
Love how you added in the Bible!(:
braxton guy Thank you so much!
The only thing I don't like about the bag is the dry bag portion is a strong khaki although everything in it is awesome?
i love that the dry bag portion is a strong khaki
Nicely done.
Do you think this could make a good range bag?
your paracord pulls.. some are over hand knots some are fisherman knots..?
Love that you carry a bible. Liked and subscribed just for that
+Cameron Albertson Thanks, and welcome to the GT family.
same
I am never subscribing due to that....well that and the fact that I disagree with his opinion on gun carry
***** How ?
His taste in poorly written bronze age-Roman fiction literature and opinion on gun carry differ to that of mine, leading me to not wish to subscribe.....so how does that enable you to belittle the intellectual capacity of my statement ????
lyca0n triggered
what brand is the softshell you're wearing?
So, what does the bag weigh? 200lbs.? :) Like the vids.

Both thumbs up for carrying the spiritual sword with you (the holy bible)!
what ammo do you carry in your shield
matt nelson PDX1
great video love the book Of, our Lord and savior.
Gun and bible, they go together like pb&j.... I'm sure Jesus had an edc gun, I bet he even used it against Pontius when the time came.
cool video I like the bible. I usually don't carry my weapon some time back someone pulled a gun on me. I took it from him and called the police.
bottle should be Klean kanteen
lost me at bible
Good review and well thought out gear. Personally i'd ditch the bible as religion and firearms do not mix too well. Have a look at iraq. Syria or even oregon
my wife gets mad at me cause I never carry my 357. but being in the army I seen enough killing. Jesus will protect me.

Ree-fid
another maxpedition cheap looking knock off.
***** Actually the founder of Vanquest was a cofounder of Maxpedition, and I have used and review maxpedition and vanquest stuff and the vanquest products are better designed and the some or better quality.
No shit. Another "carry open" weapon fan. Baaahhhh. Ridiculous.
That an iwb holster..... Inside waist band. Concealed not open carry
You're a dumbass
