A search confirmed my memory that the first Rolling Stones visit to Australia was in the Summer of 1965. So around January to March 1965.
Were they even performing as a group in 1962 ?
In 1962 they were only known locally, this had to be 64/65

Got more known in 1964 but I think they did not visit until 1965.
