The struggle is real 😊 It is about restraint for sure, and being financially responsible. There is always wax that we want, but do we NEED it. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. Great video.
Thank You!!! You’re absolutely right - Want, Yes - Need, No. I need to remind myself of that and maybe only keep the absolute favorites in my club. Hoping to maybe eliminate a few more - kind of like having really long hair and gradually cutting it all the way to your shoulders. Each time you cut it, you take a little time to get used to it and then you’re ready to cut some more. 😊

You are sooooo right. I tell myself all the time, but then I watch other people’s videos and then fall victim to things like FOMO. I need to get tough with myself and stick to a plan 😝😊 Thanks for the reminder!!!!
You did so great cutting it down! I agree with you because if i died tomorrow, my family would be like, why does she have so much wax? What was she doing!? I have cut back a lot. No more every month buying stuff. Thank you for sharing ❤
You just reminded me that before I became a consultant, I purchased every couple of months, but everything changed when I became aware of all the releases and wanted to keep up. I need to re-think how I do this and remind myself that I don’t have a big customer base so it’s me spending the money. Sure I want wax, but I also want to retire and still have spending money. No need to spend it all now 😝🫣

Great edit! I agree with you, there are so many scents I want to club but I can only afford and warm so much.

Edda great video. I agree I have done the take a chance because I can’t get thru that much wax quarterly and I don’t want my wax to go bad. It’s a struggle to make the choices but we have to do it.
Yep, with all the wax that comes out between new catalog scents, BBMB and all the LTOs, I have a hard time keeping up with warming them all. Sometimes it becomes an out of sight, out of mind thing and I completely forget about scents. Definitely a struggle but I think it’s going to be worth doing for me.
It is so hard to edit the club, but in the end having a few favorites available for us and purchasing new ones to try is good for me🤗I find it hard to have things clubbed that cant be used in the heat, since we get one or two cold months to warm them in. Most "winter" I clubbed last time around are ones I use whenever (like dancing sugar plums and polar bear hug).
You make some really great points about not really clubbing too many cold-weather scents when we have a much shorter winter. Really want to consider removing a few more.

I really really want to eliminate more and try to combine into one frequency, but it was so hard to get it to that level that I really need to think about which others I can find the strength to eliminate.
I must say that not being able to smell has really decreased my desire to even warm wax which pushes me more towards wanting to remove more bars.
You really made some tough decisions and cuts Edda. Club edits are never fun but unfortunately necessary. I totally get it. I gave myself a rule in the beginning of a 20 bar limit. Then when I went over that I said absolutely no more than 25. I recently found myself up to 38 bars and said enough is enough. You have to draw a line somewhere. I spent a couple of months going in and slowly editing (I only keep a quarterly club) and went from 38 bars down to 17. Two of those will be cut after my August club ships so I'll be down to 15. I wanted to give myself some wiggle room with all of the upcoming lto's and January's bbmb and now I have that. It was tough during the process but I have to say, once I clicked that delete button and the bar(s) were gone with no way to get them back I felt an odd sense of relief! Like a weight had been lifted. I'm interested to know if others feel the same? Thanks so much for sharing my friend. I think sometimes we tend to get caught up when it comes to club and videos like these really help to put things into perspective ❤
You did awesome reducing from 38 to 17 (and soon 15). I really think I need to come up with a limit because otherwise I’m afraid it will just go back up with all the LTOs like you said. 🫣
Friends is so popular but with the warmer, Scentsy needs to start putting the wattage on their element warmers! I'm waiting to see if it's for me until someone posts the wattage- an 8 watt warmer is completely different from a 15 watt warmer-. Sounds like you did well on your club edit!
I called customer support that morning before the sale to find out. I was told that it’s 14-watt. I’m with you, that’s a very important factor when choosing an element warmer.

I love spring summer scents but I haven’t been able to warm anything all summer almost 😢 it’s been waaaayyy too hot here and my house has been a sauna. My warmers heat up the house even more which makes me sad. Then I ended up with covid for 3 weeks and I still can’t smell anything very well 😩
I’m hoping the friends wax bar is strong and actually be able to smell some coconut, sounds amazing!
Oh, how I can relate to you with the Covid struggle. It’s really dampened my desire to even warm any scents. Hope your sniffer starts working again very very soon. Can’t tell you how excited I was to see your comment - I’ve missed you 🥰
Ah you sound like me! I’m looking to retire in a couple years. There will always be more wax. Just seems to be getting lighter these days, or I’m getting older so can’t smell as good! I keep around 13 in each of bi- month & quarterly.
Ahhh, the idea of retiring sometimes seems so far away and yet still close. I’m loving reading how so many of you have limits/thresholds for your club. I really want to work towards that. 💗
I try to have no more than 25 in my clubs. Hard cuts but so many new fall are coming so I need room.
Making those decisions can feel really tough when you really like the scents. I need to take the suggestion that I’m reading in many comments - to decide on a limit and try to stick to that. Going to start mentally preparing myself for that.
Club edit is so painful. I have to do mine by tomorrow. I only have quarterly so it’s not too bad but I still prefer to buy towards a party or using party rewards. I might cut Orchard Apple and Spice, Watermelon Patch, Hugs and Kisses Minnie, Pink Sunshine and Starburst Sky. Love all of them but can’t justify it either and there’s always something coming around to love and enjoy. Keeping St Nickerdoodle, MSC, Red white Berry Pie, Vanilla Cream, Melon and Apple Granita, Happy Birthday, Cutie Pie Cupcake, Vanilla Waves and a few others. Going to stock up on S/S ones I love and club some. There is so much coming that I know I’ll need money for! I feel your pain Edda.
Hope you get your nose back soon. Try smelling things like Vanilla extract, fresh lemon, ground cinnamon etc. I heard that helps to bring it back quicker. I did that and don’t know if it helped but I got my nose back pretty quickly. I was so excited to finally smell the vanilla again! Have a wonderful Sunday! ☺️❤️
