Hey Nadia, for your kitchen/lounge area, here are my suggestions/comments: (1) Right now there are too many items facing the same direction and that have the same shape (rectangle). It's best to break up the monotony so that it's more sympathetic to the eye and creates more visual interest. (2) As someone else said in the comments, move the table in front the patio doors so the table is horizontal (instead vertical) - this will help to breakup the lines and create more visual interest. (3) Add a rug rug under the table - this will introduce some texture to the space. (4) Add some custom shelving where the TV is currently and then move the TV on the opposite wall (where the couch is). (5) Move the couch where the table is and then add some art above the couch to help balance out the space.
One thing though, she needs a sofa in front of tv to be comfy. Where the sofa would go then? I would suggest a round coffy table in front of the sofa to put down a glass of wine 😊 and a rug underneath the table and front legs of the sofa
Yes! we certainly need a place for the wine! 😉 Since it's not a formal lounge/living room and instead the kitchen/dining area is general communal area, I personally would keep the vibe more casual. So I thought having the table where the patio door is and put the tv on the opposite wall (with custom shelving replacing where the tv is currently), would still allow people sit together at the table, play games, watch sports games, etc. The kitchen island also provide additional seating for people to spread out. The couch can go where the table is currently or even not have couch in the room period...you could maybe put an entertainment console against the wall. Lots of ideas to be had! ☺ @@katkatarina8469
@@Ash-yc6ql I still think thet sofa should facing TV to sit down and watch it for a moment or two when something is cooking in the kitchen. The sofa moved to where the table is doesn't make sense then in my opinion.
Hi Nadia, I’m an architect and I would suggest the following if I may: 1- for the kitchen/dining area I would suggest moving the dining table by the flayed area, it really feels crowded with the bench and the bar stools back to back, and move the couch in place of where the table is now to free up the circulation corridor behind the stools. However, if u really wanna keep the setup as is, u need a statement coffee table to fill up the space and def curtains to soften up the space. 2- as for thé lounge area nook, I would suggest to turn it into a book niche bespoke for the nook with dim lights and a ladder détail would elevate it even further, this will add richness to the space and u can add a reading arm chair in front and with a foot stool. 3- consider a fake fireplace mantle in the lounge, it will enrich the space and gives it extra warmth.
Nadia I would agree with the above comments. If you were keeping current kitchen set-up, i would suggest some tall plants in that area. I maintain every room needs greenery & moreso if you have a neutral palette. Also a large coffee table & a statement rug to bring some color/texture to the space. I would put a sideboard, tall cabinet on opp wall if poss & curtains to warm up windows. With being rental, no point wasting £ on blinds etc... however, i agree with previous comments that if it was me, i'd move the table in front of the patio doors (horizontal), with a giant rug below. Its too close to the island & chairs & you could make the table a statement piece with lovely vases/tablescapes. Hope that helps, just my own ideas of course. Not criticism. Gd luck🩷
I would do a black chair to bring in contrast. I would put a rug in the sitting area with a black coffee table to tie in the chair, artwork and a lamp in the sitting area. In the living room you definitely need a larger TV console. Artwork on the walls is needed to make it feel more cozy.
Move the table to infront of doors move sofa along add a rug and side table and big art piece on wall use the little dead base as a coffee bar and for table chairs id do brown leather tub chairs to watch bar chairs also maybe add in a few big plants to warm areas up
Nadia! In front of the sliding doors you need 4 upholstered chairs in a circle with a small cocktail table in between ... that will fill that space better!
Oh wow, love hearing that Biggie is getting comfortable with walking beside Yodi now. Soon they'll be playing with each other🤞🏾😊. I'm a Scrooge like Jonny, Christmas is just not my thing and I can not be asked to do decorations😐. However, your tree is lovely, great job👍🏾. Thank you for sharing Nadia, take care and have an awesome week ahead💛.
Hey girl ❤ I am so excited to see you!! Fun vlog!! I’m clueless too on home decor 😂 I loved this vlog!, real life things !! Johnny is hilarious!! Pups are adorable!! Love you hair and always always your beautiful ❤ hello to Liv!! We miss her !, baby is adorable!! Thank you !!
Loved this cozy vlog! You are just the cutest and such a good girlfriend to Johnny! You guys make such a sweet couple. You’ve motivated me to pull my Christmas stuff out 🎄love your new hair too it’s so pretty but I also love you more blonde in the summer! You can pull anything off!
I think a really nice dark brown wooden chair with spindles would look nice with that table .. like the colour of the little legs on the sofa you have there
Consider soft upholstered chairs in a light cream-beige color to match the sofa in the kitchen. If you spend a-lot of time in the kitchen, the chairs should be comfortable, wooden chairs always require cushions……
Nadia would you please explain what you do to your top lip . All info on them . Very interested in this . Thank you By the way you and Johnny are really cute together ❤

Totally agree with architects and above comments💕💕💕xxxx
You guys are the best!!! Thank you so much 💘💘💘💘💘
Suggestion no 2 sounds amazing. I wonder what previous tenants used that space for

We had black chairs when we moved in but found it looked too dark! Think we’ve decided on a brown wood 😍😍
I was going to suggest chairs maching the bar chairs, so black made of leather. It is so hard to mach wood from different brands.
@@NadiaAnyabut now you have light table, light bench and light sofa

With the lounge bit I would do either a bar set up, or maybe a book area or a little lounge area for the dogs? Xx
I’m leaning towards a little cosy area for us & dogs 🐷💘
A nice reading nook big chair foot stool and book case

Didn’t even think about the sofa legs as a chair colour but we 100% agree! Found some were loving they should be here in a week or two 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼
@@NadiaAnya 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 softer than black and not as washed out as a light wood ! Will contrast well with the beautiful table. Glad I could help 🥰
