The friendship between Sofia and Cedric is my favorite thing about the show and I think this song describes it perfectly, as seen from Cedric's point of view.
Cedric was lost in his sadness, but fortunately Sofia helped him and, even in his darkest moment, the sorcerer remembered every time she was there for him.

Cedric is the only reason why I watch this show, lol. The friendship between him and Sofia and how it develops and unfolds throughout the series, I have never seen a better fictional friendship in a children's show! Cedric was the best fictional boyfriend that I ever had,( sure, he had a number of mistakes that resulted in his friendship with Sofia and always trying to do the right thing in the end.), but I will always love him in the end after the drama of our breakup.

I think I get this song because of Sofia she the reason that Cedric father sister and his friend also the king from bad to good relationship she the reason that they were wrong about Cedric and they are getting along now. Thanks to Sofia and her kindness and friendship and she the reason Cedric try to be a good person and gave up on trying to take over the kingdom.
