Arumba I started watching your videos just before my daughter was born and she just turned 12. Your ck2 playlists were my favorite and made me laugh alot going through the characters lives and stories. You got me through a length of deep depression I had there for a while. I just wanted to thank you and I hope you are doing well. I hope one day you might do a ck3 series but I understand if its not your jam anymore. Take care 🙂

This was my first comment on this account 8 years ago, from your Othethi Collective - Stellaris let's play. I still feel the exact same way today. You were my first favorite RUclipsr, and you still hold a special place in my heart. I know you don't really post on RUclips anymore, but maybe you read the comments every once in a while. So the fun thing about playing Ottomans in 1.36 is having the Ottomans new toys from 1.35 nerfed into the ground. Like seriously I swear 2/3 of the 1.36 “Balance” section was just “so we weakened the Ottoman Mission tree”
It's called Byzantium update for a reason
They'er still strong but somehow the never blob like they used to do in the past
@@Al-Basha_ cause the AI cant handle the nerfs so they just kinda stall out ALOT or due to not upgrading forts
The Ottomans in 1.35 are, every single game that you don't break them personally, an absolutely dominant powerhouse beyond even what they normally are. In 1.36 they're back to their normal final-boss difficulty in their strong games, or closer to "sick man" status when they get stymied. They might have over nerfed them, while also making their rivals more powerful, but I prefer this to the previous patch.
If I want to run up against an empire of half the world, I'd play Anbennar with Mythical Conquerers, or multiplayer.

They sitll are unhistorically overpowered. Starting with so much manpower even after all the wars before 1444, armies that can literally melt everything.
Anybody knows if Arumba is alright atm? Last stream was 12 days ago, and I know there was some important personal stuff coming up for him, so I'm worried if he got hit with depression again 😔

He's currently playing Dota. My friend and I queued up a Dota match 15 minutes ago and we got him. He's playing Viper mid if you're curious lol. Unfortunately, like most streamers he ignored us when we said hi.
@@dukedase7 At least it isn't League lol, hope he gets through what he's dealing with. He's also moving house as far as I know as well so it could just be all the stress and hassle of that has him preoccupied

You should do a run where you focus on tag switching for "end of the game" missions buffs to create the most OP vanilla (non-custom nation) nation possible. I just did a run with Italian minors where I switched from Milan --> Tuscany --> Sardinian-Piedmont --> Two Sicilies to create a fun playing tall nation. PDX added a lot of these "end of game" missions in recent patches so probably more interesting now than ever before
I'm not the biggest fan of mission trees, as you may know, and while I know its possible to stack obscene numbers, I don't think its really *necessary*? Seems more effort than its worth to me.

Arumba, we know that you have grudges and misunderstandings with Paradox. How about playing games like Manor Lords? It seems to be a golden age for games like that, so many of them are coming.
