I tried linear once & although I was straight beaming at distance I was suddenly a potato up close, which is where most fights are. I changed back & haven't done anything with my settings since.
It takes time tbh I started on 43- classic and have gone to 4-3 linear and it took me like 4 weeks to get to where I was on 4-3 classic but now I’m way better than I ever was on classic. Also classic skill gap is limited and linear these more room to grow as it’s your own raw input. Definitely worth a go
Is that option only on console version of apex? Cuz i cannot find that linear or classic option on pc for some reason. Not even in advanced looks settings
Both are great, advanced look controls allows you to personalize your sensitivity to your exact liking but normal keeps it simple. If you want to use ALC settings you can use my settings video as a baseline then edit it to your liking. Then if you want to use normal settings I suggest 4-3 linear or 4-3 classic
Oh hell yeah, got it on 4 response curve right now. Anything from 2 to 4 feels good. I like the longer distance fights, scout, hemlock, 3030 so I have it on 4. Also let's me defend myself when the apes be apein.

I started out playing apex Legends on PS4 Got to level 100, Quit for a bit then played on PC Where I was addicted and got to like level 300 Now playing with controller just feels awkward no matter what controls I try?
Classic is more consistent and a lot easier to learn. The downside of classic is that it has a lower skill ceiling and has a lot of plateaus. With linear there's no such thing, you'll constantly improve and separate yourself from other controller players once you do get good. Play linear if you really want to get good
In short, use whatever you're familiar with, take what pros say with a bottle of salt, if you've already been playing with certain settings for awhile, switching to a pros settings will not automatically make you better, just adjust your settings to what you need.

Yea because it wasn’t enough to give controller aim assist, you can also change exactly how the aim assist reacts to different movement, and play on pc, and have custom controllers. Basically removing all reasons that the controller needed the handicap in the first place and still having the advantage of aim assist. I can change my dpi though👍
@@nave9948 Not only you can change your dpi, you can also change the Hz of data updates in a second on your optical super gaming mouse, plus the in-game cursor movement speed, you are borderline cheating.
@@MrWiniethepooh so you just added to what I said about only being able to change curser speed. What’s your point. And if you think that changing the refresh rate on a mouse is in any way the same as aim assist then you are high
@@TheRevenantsBanethat would be because of the difference in aim assist. Classic on console feels better because the aim assist pulls more for you so tracking isn’t very difficult. But .4 AA on pc doesn’t do as much as the .6 on console so it feels slow and harder to track.
