    Thanks ATH. I am up and running after a good clean but have a cracked recoil spring retainer. Will be good till parts get here

    Tip....you are not supposed to STAND in front of the camera.....people can't see through ya....OH and what size cord did you say you used??

    Using your video as guide, I have successfully got the starter spring back into the pulley but when I insert it into the cover it doesn't catch and won't tension. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

      Brett, It is common for the hook on the end to break off, Another issue if the spring was put in backwards or upside down the hook would point the wrong way if you follow what I am saying.

      @@aroundthehomesteadwithsuer3497 Thanks for the reply. It turned out the spring was slightly bent and not catching. Local small engine guy adjusted the spring and it’s working.

When I started my chainsaw that pully cort don't return to it's position cort stay half outside but as soon as I off it's return to it's position. 😊😊sorry for my English. If you understand my problem please let me know 🙏
