I have to affirm myself everyday and remind myself I am wife. Unfortunately for the 5 years of my marriage I have been treated as the invisible wife aka side wife by the first wife. I am learning I do not need validation or confirmation from family, friends, or the first wife. I am a wife! And I celebrate that!

This is why I firmly believe women should be sister wives instead of co-wives. More spiritual unity would benefit women better.

Polygamy is not for the feint of heart because one must be mature minded and strong in spirit to understand that each wife is a separate entity within the confines of the marriage where it’s important to note that True Love conquers all.. The beauty of Polygamy is that the husband does not stray , does not go outside of his marriage irregardless of how many wives he is married to.. There is absolutely no need for that because the emotional bond with his wives is strong..😊All Praises to Allah
You are absolutely correct, the Quran corrects the women referencing polygamy. Some Muslim Women become possessive over the husband as if she created the man and the anger that is put on the other wives. I love the gems you drop.
